You guys are always inventing drama in your own minds. Adam is all over C&R winning friends and influencing people. TWA/APA/AWA/back to APA.

Nothing Adam says here could outdo what he writes on C&R.

Just a thought after reading some threads on CnR.

If the NIC gets used, (highly probable) the Arbs very well might entertain sliding the west proposal down (more junior) the list a bit. To more coincide with the lengths of service of the never furloughed LAA contemporaries.

Remember, the NIC was designed to punish the LUS east pilots, not the LAA pilots.

This way if places the west pilots in a relative place within the LAA group retaining their positions and abilities to advance up the LUS brought equipment as LUS has retirements and additional equipment (350's).

This would keep the LAA pilots from being jumped by Westy's and placate any issues with them.
It would give the Westy's the NIC they have yearned for, and now have a court order instituting it.

Unfortunately, it will push back the East pilots well below(junior) to their length of service contemporaries at LAA, further punishing them.(maybe this is NIC's intent all along)

These are just some possibilities, but I believe something similar will be seen as workable, leaving the East pilots with what they have now, and never anything better. Ie: if your not in the seat now, you will not attain it in the next 10 years....

Remember Doug said we will have IT issues for quite a while, separate ops for a long time.

Having Kevin Horner associated in any way with this DFR only hurts the effort. How can he adequately meet the fiduciary requirements to fairly represent the class? Our sources have told us that Kevin Horner’s current union, the APA, is furious with him for his participation in a DFR suit against another union.

And in order to not seem punitive to the AA natives, they would need to lower the expectations of the West list.
Our East list has been submitted, but the paper explanation is all it will receive I believe, since no one from the East can open their mouth except to advocate for the NIC, per the courts order....
 
If you have better options I all ears, this is just my early conclusion....

You assume I'm not female? Only because I don't have near the penchant for drama that you do. If you could bid according to the Nic (or DOH on the East) you wouldn't need drama in your life.

How do you figure? The 9th was pretty adamant that the NIC would be the starting place. Unless you have some in with a Supreme Court Justice, I think you need to resign yourself to the fact that the NIC is here and there is nothing we can do about it.

In an earlier post you stoically mentioned how the nic is perfectly acceptable, adding it gave you the best SLI result.  Class act.
 
Read the remedy part and tell me where the 9th mentioned that the nic is the starting point, let alone in any" adamant" fashion.  East does not have to, as you put it, "reign" themselves.
