former america west pilots, you are keeping what you brought to the merger, why are you so concerned about any delay?

Hey, at least they have that going for them, which is nice!

The best thing for the West right now would be for an East committee to be appointed and for them to have no restrictions on what they can advocate for.

Everyone on the outside has seen the East's tactics and can look right through them. I think the panel is going to use the Nicolau list to integrate with American and they just want to make sure the East has no grounds for a lawsuit.

The less restrictions that are on the East and the quicker it gets done, the better for the West. No one has been fooled by their shenanigans so just get it over with and let them whine forever about it.

Your west pilot pals have again extended their PHX Island tenure through lawsuits and actions which delay everything. Fine with LAA and east pilots.
The arbitration panel and Eischen will work their own product. Eischen has already commented on how the Nicolau caused the issues present today. It was a flawed ALPA process. ALPA signed its own death sentence by not fixing it. Eischen and Co. are far too intelligent to tag on to a never implemented list from almost a decade ago. Only dinosaurs would attempt that. This deal will be very similar to UAL-CO.

Did Big Smiles Simmons ever explain how he received a Federal Court decision before its release?
Some say his Callaway driver almost slipped from his hands on the 9 th fairway.

Armando is back!  Hey, tell us about that great Western merger.  The one where you didn't have to worry about arbitrators because you dictated the deal to the Westerners with a gun to their heads.  Our boy Moak is still pissed about that one.  😛

Sorry I forgot to express condoloences when you got your butt handed to you in that F/O rep election a few years back.  I guess the Atlanta boys and I have the same opinion.

Kind of like the Pan Am deal!

Your west friends have already attracted several new lawsuits. And the LAA pilots are on it as well. At least 3 more years of constant " leetigation" is coming. Oh well.....

Wow, Oscar sure is making some stupid assumptions.
Was Oscar part of the smug" you won't get 200 cards" posse?
Nice job ALPA.
Here is a toast to 10 years of ALPA absence! Long live the APA!

Typically...you totally missed the point...you even missed your own point.

The fact is, it is different.  The Ninth remanded to Silver for specific changes which she will have to incorporate.

The Ninth did not tell Silver expand their ruling disallowing USAPA to participate and aply it to east pilots in general.

THAT would be an appealable change.....and more delays?
We conclude that injunctive relief is necessary and appropriate in this case to prevent the EAST PILOTS from continuing to enjoy the benefits of USAPA’s breach at the expense of the West Pilots.

Yes. Very Ambiguous isn't it. If Silver applies the obvious and explicit intentions to her Injunction, whom exactly are you "appealing" to regarding the "change"?

I think you need to get up early next saturday morning and hope for a review of our judicial system via the SchoolHouse Rock Cartoons. Clearly you're currently misinformed.

Best of Luck to your yet to be determined "It wasn't us" gang. Silver was so impressed with this kind of behavior the first time, I'm sure she'll be even happier about it this time around.

I mean this with all my heart; good riddance, you were a bunch of idiots that spent money like drunken sailors. Nobody misses you.

Wow. I actually agree with you! There's a first time for everything I guess. My opinion is a little more nuanced however. It's the East pilots who will be attempting to litigate anything and everything for years *after* the MB process has concluded. You guys will be on a multi-year, multi-million dollar self funded campaign attempting to sue your Union, Your Company, Leonidas LLC, the BOA, an attempt at SCOTUS...on and on.

The difference this time is you'll be at the bottom of a legal Grand Canyon trying to jump up to the rim like a grounded Chihuahua attempting to jump onto the roof; in frentic, flailing, spasms; foaming at the mouth only to end up dying of exhaustion - collapsing into a pathtic little sad heap.

End of Story.

If you didn't like the NIC, there's a real good Chance you're going to go full Apoplectic when you see the result of this SLI.  I have always said that in the end, you'll be begging for the NIC back.

Here's a nice example of "apoplectic" if you're not familiar with the word.:
