Oooh. That hurt......

You know what I do with hornets in MO?  I spray that insecticide until every single one of them is squirming on the ground in agony.  You in agony yet, Scotty?

Well, if this makes "you'se" feel any better; I'm not exactly "in agony yet", but I may have strained an abdominal or two just from laughing at ferocious "spartans" and their childish fantasies. So the latest one's now insecticides? Whew! Chemical "warfare" even?...We'd best hope you don't simply go nuclear soon, I suppose. Sigh..."You'se" are indeed a dangerous litle "army" to face! 😉

I'm not sure why any east pilot who has upgraded to a group 2 Captain slot  or transitioned to a 330 Captain slot has anything to worry about and why all the fuss on this board over the Nicolau.  (at this stage of the game)

Philadelphia and Charlotte will remain largely untouched, (not to mention DCA) and most of the Captains I mentioned above are nearing retirement, like I am.  There will be no bump, no flush, so those Captain slots are safe.  Charlotte and Philly are fortress hubs.  To emphasize that point, Kirby told pilots at a Phoenix Crew News (just before the merger) that Philadelphia was the "crown jewel" of the operation.  With that kind of endorsement, any Philadelphia Captain should have nothing to worry about, given as well the wave of retirements coming.

Nobody on this board has any say in Silver's court on Monday or in the actual arbitration.  As a west pilot, I am obviously relieved that we have a seat at the table and that all the recent court decisions have broken our way.  But like everybody else at this company, I am a spectator, and it sure looks interesting going forward.  Sort of like the current presidential campaign, the end game to this dispute will provide plenty of fireworks for both sides.

If I was an east pilot, I wouldn't be too concerned.  As some have posted here, nobody has been ordered to implement the NIC, the USAPA merger committee was able to avoid  advocating for it, and according to most east pilots on this board, there is nothing to fear from Silver or from the arbitrators.  The MB BOA will clearly see the folly of George Nicolau's decision and will avoid it like the plague.  (they have given clear hints they side with USAPA's position)

Anyway, I will read with interest the responses in Silver's court on Monday.

I'm curious, do USAPA costs for this hearing fall under the Conrad 9th Circuit $50,000 limit, (and has that been exceeded already) or under expenses for seniority integration matters, which USAPA may spend no USAPA funds on?

Is anybody starting a fundraising organization like Leonidas on the east?

My vote is for the 2nd President of the US although some give Lt. Hardy the nod.

The nightmare scenario is that you have offspring.  😀

I doubt that will happen.  Now that USAPA has withdrawn from the SLI, there is little reason to lend any financial support.  What function, or authority, do they have other than to preside over the treasury and see where the courts make them spend it?

Personally, I expect the same refund from USAPA as I got from ALPA.  I am certain I will not be disappointed.

Trust me on at least this "LT Hardy"...NO one's giving your sorry sort "the nod" here, save for a handfull of perpetually infantile and purely self-fantasized "spartan soldiers" of course. Speaking of self-fantasized "heros"; perhaps, in your capacity of "LT Hardy"; you could again give us all another lecture on "Honor" that you "heroically" gained through watching some Bruce Willis movie? 😉 Thanks for the laughs in advance

Pretty much the case as I see it as well.

And no doubt you're busy lecturing all (who would waste their time listening to you at all) telling grand tales of your personal "Honor"? You had best buy a whole lot of rounds for all present. Carry on, "LT Hardy" and thanks for the dependable laughs. 😉

Eastus, I understand that the US Airways sign is being removed from the building in Tempe today.

Why don't you stand below it so they can drop it on your head.

Nothing beats an angry boastful drunk. "hey, you wanna take (hic) my flying challenge? (hic)"

Another long, lonely weekend for Commander McBragg.  Maybe we will get to watch another hilarious mental breakdown.

I should care about some corporate logo/sign?...Seriously kid? Have you truly so little a clue in life?

"Why don't you stand below it so they can drop it on your head." That should've ended with a ?, but no matter; umm...why don't you instead just accept my wager and fully humilate me "you'se" self kid? Just asking, mighty "spartan soldier"? 😉

Well, apparently no "spartan" in any case, or I'd think at least one of "you'se" would accept a simple flying wager,  and thanks for the always dependable laughs kid. 😉

While you're clearly having yet another Oprah/Dr Phil/Fantasyland moment though: Get back to us all about "angry and boastful drunk(s)" when you can at least even try to explain away fantasies of insecticides, leaving "sparta's" victims to writhe "in agony" and of course equally "healthy" notions of dropping large signs on other people.  You've long-since proved yourself a very troubled individual, so it might be best to quit while you can still even imagine yourself as being at all credible..."imagine yourself" clearly being a key element of "spartan" ..umm...."life". The truth kid, is that you might well benefit from some needed therapy.

I think it best to leave to the reading community any/all reasonable conclusions as to the always-cheerfully evidenced spiritual and mental "health" of you fine folks.

It is up to the arbitrators now.  There is a legacy AMR, East and west merger committee.

Feel lucky?  Let the Arbitrators decide.

The west fantasy of a judge tweaking the mandate of the 9th is comical and desperate.
