So, in other words you are a cheat. Your word is not your bond, and you willfully gave up over $500,000.00 and contract improvements in a quest to bully a smaller group.
I just can't wait to see your supremely confident musings next Spring. Idiot.
The fact that west pilots are peeaced off and the fact that west pilots believe east pilots are peeaced off is evidence that USAPA (and the resulting protocol agreement) are perfectly fair.

But, more basically, putting a new hire in front of someone with 17 years uninterrupted service is simply unfair in my eyes, no matter how you cut it.
Your situational ethics are duly noted.

As a former Piedmont pilot, you thought it was fair to place the most senior Empire pilot with 13 or more years of uniterrupted service below a new hire. That placed you as a 1979 hire in front of a gentleman hired in 1972.

No matter how you cut it..........

You gave up so much more than that, how much do you owe Marty for nothing, how much for those stupid ties, how much in lost upgrades.........can't believe you would even make a dumb statement like that flounder ..........reeks of "desperation"
Big smiles son
"Yes, the East offered the NIC. They just wanted to protect their retirement attrition, which stalled by the change in Age-60. Looking back, that offer must look like a home run to any West pilot right now,"
LIAR.

I wonder how "peeaced off" you'll be after the next final & binding arbitration?

Sigh...Seriously? That odd little tantrum's given in response to "But, more basically, putting a new hire in front of someone with 17 years uninterrupted service is simply unfair in my eyes, no matter how you cut it."...?  Grow Up.
Pound sand, Michael.

Not at all, less, or more than you implicitly assume.. while you whistle walking by the grave yard believing you will never be disappointed by the seniority outcome.

Good luck!!

WTF, you moron.  Next spring I will be almost out the door thankfully without ever having to fly with any of you DBs.  Over the course of my career, I will have easily earned at least twice what your career with your in-the-gutter AWA will bring you.

If I were still paying ALPA dues, I would be living with the Nicolau.  That was where the bond lay; I have no compunction about USAPA using the laws to get the east pilots where they are.  Part of that bond was the ALPA merger policy which was summarily ignored, yet you sleaze bags were willing to bet it all to just the queue.  Just because you and your new-hire leadership got legally outmaneuvered by USAPA don't come crying to me about it.

Personally, I found that unfair.

However, I would wager that at least 95% of the Empire pilot cadre had applications sitting in Gene Sharp's desk which would indicate that they would have gladly come to Piedmont at the bottom.   For most of those pilots, Empire was a stepping stone to the majors.

And....what aircraft exactly was that gentleman hired in 1972 flying at Empire?  A Navajo?   Under what FAR Part?   Apples and oranges, bucko.

Umm...That's it?..."You'se" can't even manage yet another rousing roar of "This is Sparta!"...? What sorry times these must be out there in PHX.

Your hopeless lack of ANY evidenced ethics is duly (and unavoidably) noted. When taken into the USAir list from PSA by date of hire yourself: Why didn't you then scream loudly for treatment as some second class citizen, instead of conveniently wishing to see your junior coworkers treated as such nowadays? While your twisted posts do serve to amuse: How is it that you can even fantasize yourself to personally have any actual principles at all? That last is an honest question that I'm sure we'd all love to hear a detailed answer for?...?  I'd certainly hope you've at least an "Integrity Matters" T-shirt or two to flap around in the breeze by way of feebly attempted reply...?

P.S. Perhaps you should just nurturingly huddle together with poor nic4us and drool over visions of mighty BMWs and Beechcrafts. In full fairness to BMW though; they do make some decent bikes at least.

Wait, are you starting to figure out the first one was not? It is a start. But too bad you sucked all the college and vacation money out of your gullible constituency.
We miss Spinthis. How much longer is the Cat3 crew out of the country? He must have taken Eastcheats and Cactuspilot1 with him.

Thank you sir. You stood by your fellow pilots to the end, as those like Cactusboy53 and the entitled tried to steal.
And thank you for your USAF service. Something the PHX crowd for the most part never participated in.
