Oh yea..if the pilots just start holding hands Jerry Glass and Dougweiser are going to just throw money all around with Oil hovering around an all time high. Dream on...dream on![]()
Mike;
I don't know about holding hands, but walking lock step with the backing of ALL 5000+/- would go a long way. If all 5000 participants were tasked to show up at public events, clog the entry to various terminals, show up at events that Parker was scheduled to be, etc. it could have an effect.
There are other tools that can encourage Parker to finish this deal sooner than later. My point is that failure to participate in the JNC and failure to act as one body will ensure existing contracts, pay and conditions for years to come. The winner?? LCC, the stock holders, and Parker's management team. The losers? The re-hired pilot that will be on reserve for years. The newly upgraded captain that will be on reserve for years. The pilot that was expecting upgrade in 6 months because of manditory retirements. You get the picture.
The only advance we can affect is a new contract NOW. Perhaps Parker can then start some more growth here for further career advancement.
