I guess CWA/Teamster didn’t want a nasty union campaign and election like what IAM is going thru now with the possibility of the IAM losing yet another election

This unfortunately does not happen. The Local is just as happy to ignore you as District/National are, and I feel in many cases they are all working together to ignore us. We havent had a Local meeting in almost 2 years (that was posted and noticed so we could attend). Cant get financial info from the Local either after 2 months of requests. Still cant get anyone at CWA District/National to admit they allowed a vote challenge illegally according to the Constitution of the CWA. Ignored all around. Not enough members care to get things changed, they'd rather just #### about "how bad" things are, but dont want to actually get involved to try to change things or at least hold CWA officers accountable for the (in)actions. Cant wait to see what a joke of a contract they bring for us. And for anyone that says we dont have a voice, in the end you do. If you dont like what is presented vote NO and convince your fellow agents why its not acceptable. For now they are the only representation we have so we have to hold CWA accountable. Keep emailing them until you get a response. If you have to email every day and take it up to the top, keep doing it. Dont let them think they can ignore you and you'll go away. That's what they're hoping.

I sent roughly 10-15 suggestions..
Per Diem was not increased in over 25yrs @ my station to keep up with inflation,.
Have you been to Clt lately for meals?
What can you buy other then a dessert for 6.25?
We have to PAY OUT OF POCKT FIRST then it is paid in our checks.
A local spoke to 2 of our employees, and mentioned, we WOULD NOT GET MUCH BACK in the New Contraxct!
And that we WOULD have to give back to the company!

This company is profitable...WE ARE GIVING NOTHING>>
And you really think we are going to snap back EVERYTHING?

I asked about airlines in the CWA, you gave us all different industries, but no airlines, because they dont represent anyone except US/East and Piedmont, by the way, how is that first CBA going for Piedmont?

Several posts ago I all ready mentioned the AFA merging with the CWA, thats not organizing.
And Pat Friend was shopping AFA around as they were running out of money. She had meetings with the IBT, IAM and he TWU, also they were close to merging into the IAM but Pat Friend wanted the AFA to be autonomous, she only wanted the influx of money from joining a bigger Union, so that is why she had AFA merge with the CWA.
So please show me other than US CSA/East and now Piedmont who they have organized in the airline industry.
