Now I understand why CLT goes to h*ll in a hand basket everytime it snows.
having spent 3 decades in PIT I feel compelled to shed some light on this subject.
when you only have 1 bobcat to clean 20 some gates I can see why the operation is compromised
who made that decision because it isn't working the CLT ramp is one big sheet of ice and unsafe
I'm thinking tomorrow might have to be a sick day not because I'm truely sick but am afraid that
I could be put in harms way since nothing is being done to clean the gates and the temps are dropping
so if management decided to go the cheap route and only have 1 scrapper than why attempt to get to
work only to fall and crack my head open. :down: :down:

Can you imagine the liability incured by the Company is the State informs it's citizens not to go to work for their safety and someone had an accident?

Knowing that you'll be disciplined if you don't show up to your job is force IMO.

I dont think a court would see it that way, its still a personal choice and the company would waive the grievance award and say see no one gets in trouble.
