As for the JK situation, the TWU executive board voted to release him and it wasn't for fraternization. JK is a very integral part of the GC here in PHX and I would hope that you could let this go. He had some personal issues at the time and I'll leave it at that.

You're thinking of JM. You guys canned him, as well.

First, I haven't golfed in 4 years and when I did play it was never with management. As for the JK situation, the TWU executive board voted to release him and it wasn't for fraternization. rez,

Is this the same JK that is outnumbered 2 to 1 on the GC in PHX. The same JK that wanted to give equal support to NH while you were pimping MW and KA (who is from UA btw) around the ramp in PHX, while NH was stuck inside?, and was shot down. You are a real piece of work. How about slapping the hand of the District 141 communications guy DL while he was trying to garner support for the guys the Diastrict endorsed? If you are so biased when is comes to these things, how are we to know that you are not biased with grievances? Is it true that the reason that you supported MW is that NH got you an office on property instead of off property, and you would have to "deal" with actual problems instead of avoiding them, and you were very upset about that? God forbid you have to talk to an employee that has a concern or a grievance.

JK was never stopped from taking NH on the ramp, I think his friends told him it would be a bad idea. JK and I get along just fine, and we work well together. As to the DL situation his hand was not slapped but I'll admit I was wrong for trying to stop him from handing out literature to employees. I did apologize to him for that and he handed out literature from that point forward. As for not dealing with problems or not talking to employees who approach me, not even close. I talk to anyone who comes up to me and want to resolve their issues. I don't hide and can always be found in the A breakroom or my work assignment. We also had MS out on the ramp and yes I know she is UA. We, as a GC here in PHX want to work with the AGC's to resolve issues that affect PHX employees as well as all employees across the system. Not every employee in CLT or PHL voted ND and are they being treated any differently? I would hope not. We don't want to keep the east/west animosity going and would rather work together to help all the members everywhere.

rez,

First, how would a UA AGC help US employees? That I just can't understand. I know just how well you want to work with the AGC's. The difference is, the people who voted for the losing team, at least they showed some respect to the ND guys. YOU DID NOT, and PHX DID NOT, period. Just why would it have been a "bad idea" for JK to escort NH around the ramp. Please explain. I have no East/West animosity at all, just utter comtempt for you and how you like to play the victim role instead of being a leader. I really do hope someday, the FSA's of PHX will see you for what you are and vote your ass out of the position you are in. You in no way help anybody out systemwide, your focus in on PHX only. That is where you fail as a good union rep/GC person. I know there are some great employees in PHX, and they, not you, make PHX work. Make no mistake about that. My only hope is when we actually start the negotiations, that you are not on the NC. I think PHX needs a rep on the NC, just not you. Because IMO, you are a first class POS that has no business doing GC work.

The people in PHX do see who I am and it is someone who will fight for them. You are entitled to your opinion but shouldn't you engage me in a conversation before drawing conclusions? If you think I am a POS after that then I am ok with that. PHX is not trying to play victim here, seriously, we want to help all members everywhere. We now have PHL, PIT, LAS, BUR, ABQ, ELP, LGB, DEN, CLT, CMH, SLC and more here and don't differentiate between them or PHX when representing them. If the IAM wins the election at UA won't the CO employees be represented for 2 years by UA AGC's? I don't think it matters which airline you work for when you are elected AGC. You are called upon to aid all unionized employees at each airline in IAM.

You still did not answer my questions posed to you.
1. How would a UA AGC help US employee's?
2. Why would it have been a "bad idea" for JK to escort NH around the PHX ramp?

And you really can't read and comprehend at the same time can you. I said you are working for PHX alone not the employee's of PHX. Please re-read my post. You are the type of person that would take credit for other people's work aren't you? Doing GC work is a thankless job, and one should not be in it for the recognition, or the look what "I" did for you guys. The union does it not the individual, hence a contract. When and if you are capable of doing work for the collective as a whole, maybe, just maybe, you might get a little bit of respect. As of right now though you have none.

You must have added the last part while I was replying. So to calrify, yes the UA AGC's would represent the Co Employee's because they would be represented by the IAM. Are you that much of an idiot? And yes it does matter. Different contracts. Different companies, sheesh, get a clue will you.

So can you answer the questions?

You should be more civil , even if you think he's doing a bad job , at least he's stepped up , not alot of people bother to take part in union leadership out here ...

That is a problem systemwide. As I said it is a thankless job. There is a saying, you don't have to like me, but you have to work with me. rez has shown a pattern of his unwillingness to work with people he does not like. That is in no way good for us as a whole, and especially for you guys in PHX. And to parade a UA agc around the US ramp, come on, what is a UA AGC going to do for you guys in PHX, better yet, what was promised from said UA AGC to you guys in PHX, that is the better question?

A UA AGC can and will represent a CO employee for at least 2 years which has a different contract. These same UA AGC's could represent US employees and should when needed because we are IAM. That was my point. That was why we supported who we did. As for JK and what his friends told him, ask them. I don't think they supported the ND. When I file a grievance on an issue such as attendance or scope here in PHX my intentions are to help said employee and the membership as a whole. For instance, PHX has grieved several cases here in PHX on CD's for attendance for which our intended outcome is to help the membership system wide. The grievance says that every time an employee hits 4 points in a rolling calendar year they receive a CD. The company says that a CD lasts for a year which contradicts the company's own ACP. We had an employee receive a level 1 last night and he was given a CD last April. He hit 4 points again in October and if he was given a CD then he would have known he was getting close to a Level 1.

Why wouldn't you as a member of the GC along with JK, tell the employee's to at least let him escort to give equal time to both sides? Clearly you could have done that huh. Why didn't you? You point about the AGC's is weak at best. They would represent the CO employee's and enforce their contract until a TA or a JCBA could be ratified. For us on the other hand it is an entirely different story. Different JCBA's, different policies/proceedures, ect, ect, ect. You really have no clue. You really grieve CD's. Did RR tell you to? CD's, according to the company, are NON-DISCIPLINARY, and therefore cannot be grieved. I applaud your effort though, and I hope it works out, because that truely would benefit all.

If you remember, the Members first ticket had US and UA employees on it. The ND ticket also had UA and US employees on it. We would always want a US employee representing us if possible but anyone good or willing would be acceptable too. As for the grievance on CD's for attendance, it was Level 1's that were grieved with the CD issue per the company's own ACP that was central to the issue. BTW, the ND had many chances to come to the ramp before that day and didn't. MC came to PHX about 2 months ago and said he would be in town several times a month and meet with us and discuss issues which we all agreed to. We told him that the past is the past and we would accept any help he could give. We haven't seen him since.

You are right, both tickets had both US and UA people on it, and we voted together. But we do not vote together on JCBA's or TA's do we. Hence the need for SEPERATE AGC's. If what you say were true, we would have a say in UA's negotiations and vise versa. And I thought you guys only wanted RR representing PHX. What happened?

RR is a good asset to PHX and we appreciate that the district puts him on part-time. We would accept other AGC help at any time. We agree that we are all in this together and if we were all on the same page we could accomplish much more than we currently do. We are over the east/west thing and wish to just get on the same page.
