Well...Just got another email from some Nigerian prince promising me a fortune, so I'll properly have to look into that first, where donations are concerned. The vote?...Well...if RR's typical of the regime, that's becoming less troublesome to contemplate, but I'd sure-as-hell like to see both sides PLAINLY explain just WTF their respective agendas truly are. Does that really seem so unreasonable?...Or is it just too much to ask/expect of any "players" on either side?

Of course it is reasonable!  But would you really be persuaded anyone was telling you the truth unvarnished?

There are only two people on this board I trust to be completely honest about their opinions, and that is only because they are too emotionally overcome to retain any ability to concoct an ulterior motive for their outbursts....

Congratulations to Nic4Us and Rez J.  Vote (and donate) opposite of those two, and you will never go wrong.

An interesting litte bit of prose you offer there. "...when a fight was available. I will do my best to avoid you..."

I don't know what prose is but I think you just gave us an example of oxymoron.    Any apparent similarity to simpleton must be merely ironic.

Naturally not based just on first glance, but if intelligent argument that's consistently supportive of proposed agendas/intended actions/etc is ever offered; that'd be both extremely refreshing and useful in decision making for all concerned, or at least I'd certainly believe to be the case. I was merely asking for proposed plans, and instead got "smarmed", which allows for precious little faith to be placed.

Agreed.  Any BS would become evident in time.  Give a man an opportunity to boast about what he takes pride in and you'll get enough to figure it out.

Indeed. The whole "player" BS left me cold, to say the least. I don't feel Hummel's the man for the job, but would very much like to hear any/all reasonable arguments from both sides, sans the smarmy nonsense naturally...or any excessively "heroic" BS to boot: "reasonable and honorable men fighting a tide"...? Spare me. "Just the facts sir/ma'am" if you please.

And where did you get the 200K figure? (although he might make that with the new raise!)  Up until Feb 8, he was being paid as a group III C/O at 85 hours...paid contractually by management.   Nothing more, nothing less. RR
Another lie form you he is making over 200,000 along with about 4 or 5 others we can publish there pay, which we have in the past. You know what why not have them publish their pay we derserve to know who's making what or do you have a problem with that, we  will see transparency in action.  Tell me please what does James Ray do to earn 200,000 plus, we have not heard a word form him because he is being kept quiet by your boy Hummel, we all would like to have that job..

Luv, and not that you will listen anyway....all USAPA FPL is eventually posted on the union site, and most of the highly compensated (that means pilots on AFB completely off the schedule) are also published in the yearly LM2 required by law.

The Company pays Hummels pay, so I am not sure it will show up in either of the two sources I mentioned.  But for everyone else, including even the Committee member getting a paulty 5 hours, there is a 30% benefit override paid to the Company (30% East, I believe 25% West).  So a group II C/O getting 85 hours a month on AFB it would be 125K X 1.3 = 162K. Were you to add the old stipend (now gone) you might get another 12K a year. That comes to 184K.  So not quite 200K+  But that would be James' compensation, not including expenses.

Luv, you are a simpleton.  The CLT recall was not "published" until it was published.  The Treasurer does not give a Prechlli countdown.  Just relax, its coming.

You don't have any intention of learning or knowing any truths. This is all old news for anyone with half a brain or a computer.  RR

I had several pilots tell me the company planned ahead to "surrender" to the CLT reps if they demanded retropay (ie. no one could really claim credit for negotiating an offer that the company hatched).  And I heard a founding member publicly boast of getting Hummel elected, as the thing he is most proud of.

I used to think the company "play" was just an invented wives tale in an attempt to discredit the value of countering the first real offer.   Little did I expect someone to come out and boast they were the ones who played the simpletons, then solicit donations, and then hoist a pilot, who was easily parted from $1K, as another trophy.   🙄

I disagree with your assesment of Luv's charachter.

I disagree with your assesment of Luv's intellect.

I disagree with your assesment of Luv's commitment.

Sir, thank you for starting the drive for airline pilots fair treatment in a merger situation.  If it was not for the courage of those that followed you in the battle, you would have been branded as a fool by the west and alpa.

You need to keep your achivements in check.  If you say lets take the hill men, you need others to follow.  You are turning your back on the rebellious courageous men that helped you.

Let us not forget who the enemy is, west and parker.

I am catching a lot of flak from some guys that don’t even fly aircraft over my use of the work “played” in reference to the idiot CLT reps and their vote on the MOU.  Here are a few more words that describe what we did to them:

Best “play”  ever of my short union political career.  Getting the CLT reps to send the MOU out for a vote.  RR

You promised to leave this forum after the merger money, did you not sir?

My advice sir, always leave them wanting more.

You and Luv get a room Clax.  You don't even fly aircraft now, and are one post away from turning on me anyway. And quit thanking me for something I did not do. You are mistaking me for thousands of East pilots, most who share no opinions like the current CLT and PHL reps, and even Luv. Luv is a simpleton, that says it all.  The pilots that stepped up to vote in USAPA will step up again.  Watch. What I am hearing about donations tonight to our cause is stunning.  Those errant reps are about to get an earful from their members. RR

I promised to leave when I got my retrospective pay.  Don't worry, gone on the 30th.  RR

I have so many great posts, its tough to pick the best. Here are three of my favorites over the last 24. I will repost these every day, until every single participant on this forum hates me. Then I will leave on the 30th. Based on my superior intellect and ability to nail every issue, I am sure the content of this annoying post will do nothing but get bigger over the next 16 days.

Do you think those donations will help when the West votes....Yes?
Good luck, RR. You're going to need it.

You are correct Snap, we are going to need luck. The Recall 6 have put the East pilots in the unenviable situation of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. You guys will probably be able to throw out Gary and the Founder, and throw the union into a new election. An election in which the East vote will almost surely be split, and the West Candidate will win. You might even get under the wire and be able to alter the committee structure going into M/B, especially if Silver causes any delays in the process. Nicely played, especially the way you got our own guys to sell out Bradford.

You only make that comment because you suspect I personally voted "no" to the company's first offer. There is no question that we accepted the company's first offer of a pay raise, and we will all enjoy our $8K signing bonus.
It was a foregone conclusion that the membership would eagerly vote to accept the very first offer of a pay raise since 911. Ray Charles saw that. The only question was what signing incentives the BPR would settle for. Only the "Simpletons" understood that, but they got "played".

You will always be able to twist words, specifically the meaning of "deal" in order to spread your rumors of back room trades and first offers taken. But that simply is not the case here, unless all of the NAC, Officers, and Legal are lying. And you will always be able to imply our pilots are stupid and will vote yes on anything, because you simply cannot prove otherwise in this instance. If Operation Desert One had succeeded, Jimmy Carter might now be our greatest living President. But he is not. And certain individuals won elections, and others did not. Those that lost said elections were not at the table. They will always be able to say "we could have gotten more." Always happens with any, and here it comes..."deal."
Finally getting the CLT reps to let our pilots vote was a huge political win.

Hands down the biggest win for the union after the NMB vote and USAPAs handling of Sullys event was getting the vote sent out to our blind pilots.

As of now, thats all you have, a snarky comeback hinting at failure, and moneys left at the table. I say otherwise, we finally got a win and guys like you cannot stand it.

The only back room deal I can point to is the CLT and PHL reps selling out Steve Bradford to the West for a handful of political silver. Disgraceful.

Just in case you all are unsure, the only recalls currently scheduled are for Hummel and Bradford. That is unless the BPR decides to continue its destruction of all we have worked for over the last 5 years, and recall the other two Officers. I am sure the S/T will shortly announce the voting. Simply a matter of time and resources. With all that is going on, M/B and the JNC process, it is sad our union has to divert time and effort to such folly. Shame on those toddlers who choose to burn down the house just as we face our biggest challenges, and perhaps biggest successes.

Acting under uncontrolled rage and revenge, DiOrio and Frear have successfully called for a recall of our President and VP. In order to get to Hummel, they threw our Founder Bradford under the bus by making a deal with the West Pilots that to recall Hummel AND Bradford. The West has been foaming at the mouth to recall Bradford for years, and politically it fit just perfect with the rabid actions of the Recall 6.

If the recall succeeds, an election will be called. It is entirely possible that Eric Fergeson could end up as President of USAPA going into M/B, as the East will split their vote among at least 2 other candidates. If he wins, you can be sure Fergeson will re-staff the NAC and Merger Committees in order to install the NIC as our bargaining position.
If the membership elects to change the voting to roll call the West Class will gain even more power on the BPR.
If the membership elects to hand over the dissolution of USAPA to the BPR, instead of the Officers, the West Class will have an inside seat on all decisions and moneys as they continue to sue us after decertification.

What a sad day that such little men and their search for power and penis size compensation choose to ruin all we have worked for.
