Fergie complains about CLT narrow snippets on the latest AOL update, then goes on to provide narrow snippets and opinions for his case, keep paying fergie and Harper.

"Predictably, the CLT reps take narrow snippets from Document 193 and then inflate their way to “facts” which are really just unsubstantiated opinions."

Judge Silver, like Wake, will be kept in check by the 9th. Keep the donations coming!

Meet and greet? More like meet, and pay up because this thing is tanking.........

Leonidas Update October 31, 2012
The crux of what Judge Silver is thinking is found in the transcripts from the October 2nd hearing (and here is the complete thought; no snippets will be found in a Leonidas Update):

The “forever” comment brought laughter in the courtroom, as she leaned forward, pretending that the 9th Circuit was listening. We at Leonidas agree with Judge Silver’s lamentations; all of us are “stuck” with Judge Tashima’s shortsightedness. The Company’s Declaratory Action case underscores why the Ninth Circuit’s Addington decision just doesn’t make sense, but regardless, that is the law for now until the Ninth revisits the issue.

Indeed..."(and here is the complete thought; no snippets will be found in a Leonidas Update)" closely followed by such entirely opinionated gems as: " all of us are “stuck” with Judge Tashima’s shortsightedness. The Company’s Declaratory Action case underscores why the Ninth Circuit’s Addington decision just doesn’t make sense,.." which, in turn goes on to the incredibly stupid observation: "... that is the law for now until the Ninth revisits the issue"

So....the 9th's ruling "doesn't make sense", but yet "...that is the law for now until the Ninth revisits the issue" ..???? ...Which, of course, would necessarily result in an entirely different kind of ruling...from the very same court that "doesn't make sense"? Sigh!....and supposedly intelligent people buy into this kind of wholesale BS? 😉

Again...one couldn't make this kind of cross-threaded and insanely illogical BS up..well...unless while waving pom poms around, passing the hat, and trusting to the ignorance and willingness to set aside all disbelief in those they're busy selling snake oil to. 😉

Mock me if you want. But I will donate until I'm dead if I have to. It may work, it may not, but it has to be done.

That's certainly your prerogative sir. You're an intelligent man and can and should do as you see fit. I don't blame you at all for defending the position as best as is possible. What I can't help but find truly offensive is the patronizing and entirely illogical BS put out by those leading the "charge".(I must wonder about the generally targeted audience in that) I suppose that stems from the frustrating thought that had less of such monumental horse-crap been put forth initially by either, or even both sides, and ANY semblance of mutually reasonable thought brought to the SLI process at ALL...well...just maybe much of this huge arbitration disaster for all concerned might have been avoided. Oh well...it is what it is now.

Leonidas Update October 31, 2012

Wednesday, 31 October 2012 22:54 | | |

We would like to remind you that there will be a “meet and greet” session with our attorneys from Polsinelli Shughart, this Friday, November 2nd

Have a safe and spooky Halloween. See you on Friday.

Sincerely,

Leonidas, LLC
Go to page 20 and click on the yellow quote sticky note from the Koontz family, it claimed laughter. The only one laughing was Harper, Jacob and Koontz. You are the gift that keeps on giving. You can always stay at one of the lawyers properties as long as Mitchell is not sleeping over.

None of this is any fun, that's for sure. Never mind the intramural bs, the legal system is really what bugs me. It sucks. The only outfit that can give more things for each side to latch onto than the company can is the legal system. It's designed to say a whole lot of nothing and everything in order to be a self perpetuating enterprise. And to think featherbedding is a union term.

Amen! What's most repulsive to me is that this incredible and perpetual clusterf-k all came to pass based on the actions of just a handful of recalcitrant pinheads (both sides) that proved themselves entirely unworthy of their positions as supposed "negotiators"...much less "leaders". NONE of this should have gone to arbitration in the first place!...Much less the glorious legal system!

Rant over, well...at least for now. 🙂 Have a good evening LS.

From another thread here. If this merger doesn't go through, you boys will be on LOA93 for a long time.

JNC Update - Company's Intentions for Negotiations
November 1, 2012

We have been advised by the Company that they do not intend to develop a proposal for a revised tentative agreement. The Company has indicated they are only willing to meet if directed by the NMB and are not willing to engage in negotiations outside of that process. Additionally, Doug Parker indicated at Crew News that the Company has no plans to put more money into the Flight Attendant Agreement.

The JNC met earlier this week in PHX and the Joint MECs will be meeting next week in CLT. We will provide further information at that time.

Thank you for the flight attendant update.

You are on furlough, according to the company, through at least the end of 2013. Loa 93 pays the bills, but you know better.

Pays the bills? You sure about that retard? Seems like you've skipped a few of your meds.

God damn you're an idiot.

You sir, are the quintessential example of the only pilots that Franke Air could recruit, but now claim superiority to others.

" Thank you for a memorable afternoon, usually one must go to a bowling alley to meet a woman of your stature"

Pay rate differences east and west:
320 F/o
8 year $6 an hour
10 year $6 an hour
14 year $8 an hour
Top of scale $9 an hour

320 Capt.

8 yr $13 an hour
10 yr $13 an hour
14 yr $15 an hour
Top of scale $17 an hour

Not like either side is really cleaning house in the pay department. However the east does have access to widebodies that provides better pay than the west, also the east has higher pay on the 757's. west 757's are same rate as the 320's. The east emb 190's however......well the fact that the last captain bid on the 190 went to a march 2004 hire date and the Junior Capt on the 320 is 89 hire date says it all.
