Forgive my clearly offensive suggestion then, and with it; any optimism that growing up is even a possibility for many of you heroic "knights", "spartans" and "dire wolves".

This could be the biggest irony of the entire merger mess. The east pilots that screamed about voting for everything. Inventing a union that says the line pilots should vote.

Could end up with a new union and contract without ever voting.

Because the APA has a large majority (over 35%) no vote required for representation.

The APA will be the bargaining agent and they will negotiate contract and vote. They would then be responsible for bringing us to their contract. We don't get a vote on that. The majority decided it was good enough. The bargains agent gets to decide what is fair.

Does that sound like a good thing to you? No vote for you.

If it makes you happy, then I'm happy.

Sigh!...I do miss nicelandingcaptain's Fantasyland BS about saving "hundreds of troops on the ground" though...even while proven that he never so much as came close to ANY combat theater at all. I just love all these little westie "heroes", "spartans", "knights", etc.....Who wouldn't? 🙂

No question brother...We've little choice anyway, and have very good seats for the show. 🙂 Plus...tell me that ANY of us could have ever imagined seeing this kind of entertainment from supposed "Pilots"?....."Lions and Tigers and Westie-Spartans/Dire Wolves/Knights!...Oh my!" 🙂 You just could not ever, even begin to make this stuff up.
