Think of all those new hire eastern div. Just piling on top of the furloughed Ferguson Listeners. And making it look even worse for the stagnant PHX operation in any merger. No wonder U Haul is so snappy.

Every day that goes by for them is another defeat, to think they could have shared in the upgrades, ah...... what greed does.

I find it amusing that the radical eastholes think they have won something. They continue to work under LOA93 and their pretend union has done nothing to indicate that they are even attempting to improve their lot in life.

They brag that their side is growing and, for now, are reaping the rewards of the delays caused by their not honoring their own agreements. They drool in anticipation of their senior pilots retiring and offering even more opportunity to advance over others.

All of this is done under the guise of "unionism". Right.

The west is patiently waiting for the fight to be resolved in the courts. The CEO could put an end to this prior to that and it is a possibility he will do so as now it appears he needs to get things done. When this dispute is resolved is anyone's guess.

Meanwhile, most of us on the west make significantly more money than the eastholes and all of us certainly work under much beter work rules. This makes being patient much more palatable.

The west unity is unbreakable and it appears the east is a house of cards. A few unreasonable loudmouths think they have won but they are losers just the same.

I think the majority of west pilots are doing just that as I have never had a major issue with one in person. A few snubs, a few wouldn't shake my hand some snide remarks that I couldn't make out. And that was a while ago, nothing recent except on web boards. But you? From you posts that does not sound like what you are doing. You seem controlled by venom and hate. I wish you luck.

Their patience is filled with name calling, gloating about being the second worst paid in the industry, finger wagging, blustering about always being on the verge of winning, assassinating the character and integrity of those they are losing to, bloviating about "WARNINGS" of impending doom if you follow the courts permissions, threatening more lawsuits that have already been repeatedly dismissed, ... and the dying whimper cry of "final and binding" (picture the witch of OZ crumbling to a heap as she screams 🙂 ).

I think the majority of west pilots are doing just that as I have never had a major issue with one in person.

With the notable exception of that juvenile jackazz regarding the jumpseat years back; I'm happy to report much the same experience, and will further note some enjoyable conversations with west folks as well.

For the bulk of the most frequent (and rabid) west posters here...that much is certainly true. I suspect that the more actually sane are just accepting that this isn't finally and inescapably over 'till the proverbial fat lady sings/contract in place/etc, and like ourselves, wish things had worked out better for all concerned. I can't help but get a chuckle from the most extreme and angry among them proffering up fantasies of supposed patience though. 😉

I did not read Ames' post as judging the east over their income, rather judging them over their actions.

Sad indeed that the actions of the east give cause for judgement.
