Patience is a virtue sir! It will take the most devoutly faithful awhile to finally figure out that their holy cause is truly toast.
There's been established, and still exists, an enormous emotional investment in childish, almost cult-like fantasy that won't immediately dissipate. I mean really folks..."spartans"...umm...Seriously??..and an..umm..."Army" of Leonidas?, in which Fergie's the self-styled; "Supreme Commander"?..Most children past the age of 12 would blush at such nonsense, which kinda' gives one some idea of just how deep and sick this BS goes...so...this will take them awhile a get past, much less emotionally accept. Just look at even poor nic4us's latest fantasies.for example...."collusion"?...Yeah..that's the ticket. Meanwhile...said devotees of delusion must keep feverishly working to seperate donations from the still gullible, the most stubborn....or the just-plain-stupid... or whatever combination applies to each case.

In any case though: Who really cares? Nic's never going to see the light of day anywhere in the real world. All these people really have left are hopes and fantasies...and no small helpings of obvious anger and frustration.
