The depth of the venom in this thread toward PHL employees is amazing. Have all of you personally had such bad experiences dealing with them?

You and your corporate 'fishing' buddy are much too transparent.
Tough town is an excuse. IGNORANT town would best decribe that hell hole!!
The job of DP is NOT to win the workforce. THAT is the problem. There is a small group of maffia acting idiots that have taken control of that operation. If it means shutting the place down for a week, every trouble maker should be escorted out the door by police and told never to return or they will be arrested for trespassing. There should be security in the parking lot to keep these thugs from acting further like low lifes, and tell the unions if they don't like it, tough..file your little grievence and we'll see you in court. AND have the rest of the hard working employees to testify against them so they don't get their jobs back. More importantly, the unions should tell these "people" to leave and never return. These people are BEYOND help.
DP's JOB is to make sure we have what we need to run a class act in PHL. AND the mamagement team in PHILLY needs to have the balls to truely sit down with upper management and DP himself and say what they need and it be done.

Interesting that you this, because I have not personally dealt with the people on the ramp to any extent. The ramp personell seem to be the target of most of the venom on here. I pretty much figured that these boards are #### boards for the most part and take it with a grain of salt. However..after having just spent some time with passengers, fight attendants and gate agents in Philly, I was amazed how the "attitude" from the ground personnel is well known. Flight Attendants say things like "we just know when we come to Philly what to expect", passengers simply..."it's philly, thats the way it is here". Gate agents just shake their heads sometimes. So the board is conveying what could truly be a problem there, but probably to more of an extreme than what it really may be.The depth of the venom in this thread toward PHL employees is amazing. Ok listen here junior (read:all HP employees)...when you come to (read:get bumped to) PHL try venting (read:whining) like this. You will see the swift hand of PHL (read:the greatest place on earth) come up about your chin. Now I dont come on here insulting your city and its workforce and I would like it if you wouldnt do it either. (read:shut the #### up).

Very good example of an irate PHL employee?
All you would need is one or two of these people per shift and everyone would be PHL happy.
One guy was so rude and obnoxious I didn't even complain to Consumer Affairs. I figured that anyone that miserable didn't need anymore grief. Funny thing is I still see him in the airport. Same sour expression, same surly attitude. Fortunately I've not had the "pleasure" of having to transact any business with this "gentleman". But he is the poster boy for the 20 percent I refer to and it's a shame that people like him drag down the whole organization and the publics perception
