I can only assume that this is the part where I'm supposed to surrender my principles and implode my basic belief structures, burst into tears, and hand you the seats and years worked of my juniors out east? .... USAPA's established with DOH as a core and essential element of it's construction. The majority vote is held by those that believe in DOH as an essential principle.

That's why this country is a constitutional republic, not a democracy.

To prevent the tyranny of the majority.

If the majority of people in the country have slavery as a basic belief structure and principle should we bring it back too?

Yeah...I've never seen anything quite like it my life. Here's a bunch of supposedly "professional adults" conducting themselves akin to the worst aspects of self-obsessed, teenaged, "It's ALL about MEEE!" behavior, without the least thought towards the worth of ANY other human beings whatsoever. "My Mommy was AWA so I'm better than you!...and I think I'm really, really Special!!". I started out thinking that NO group of people could truly be this screwed up, and that we all just needed to talk things out. After a year's worth of "Ho Ho Ho! St Nic is coming to town!"..."Booyooshaka!"..."I want the captain seat..and most of all, I want every single east pilot to pay for it"....Not to mention "There I was..saving hundreds of troops on the ground in my "Gray jet"..in a war tour purely of my own imaginings".....Well... I now fully and truly understand what the psychiatric diagnosis of Arrested Development really means.

We can't all have been axe murderers in previous lives...and we didn't adopt these kids....so I'm not at all sure what any of us ever personally did to deserve some of these people in any aspects of our lives...I guess we just got lucky 😉

Do you type that in every time? Or do you cut and paste, occasionally adding a new sentence or two at the end.?

BS. Some of the Founding Fathers were concerned with excessive federalist control over the notions of States' Rights. I don't seem to recall any "We the People, in order to thwart the horrible tyranny of the majority...." anywhere in the preamble. I'm under the silly opinion that the concern du jour was over the tyranny of an individual english monarch...almost like an arbitrator on steroids I suppose 😉 Perhaps you can educate us all further on those ideas though? Seriously, as I'm certainly no constitutional scholar. I'll freely grant that James Madison expressed concerns over the idea of a tyrannical majority. That hardly suggests that his concerns were universal. One can note that the multiple branches of governmental power were established to provide checks and balances, but nothing prevented any "tyranny of the majority" from taking place.

It's funny that you mention the slavery idea, since it was truly supported by only a minority, but a very vocal one....kinda' like "Relative Seniority" around here.

You evidently don't bother reading anything prior to continued barking. I'll "make it easy for you" yet again:

You're joking I assume....aren't you? What possible reasons do they honestly have for even caring at all about what the seniority list is? They must deal with the actual Union, as has been repeatedly said by them. The Union's Charter predicates DOH. Any contract vote will be decided by the majority of voting Union members. Are we done now?

East,

Repeating a nonsense statement does not further the conversation. Again you did not answer any of my questions.

I will ask them again.

What makes you think that the company will negotiate a DOH list?

What if the company says We agreed to the Nicolau that is our position. Then what is USAPA’s plan?

If a DOH list is such a slam dunk why has USAPA not presented it?

What are they waiting for??? Is there a problem?

Where is that quick contract that USAPA promised?

How long will USAPA hold a bad bargaining position?

How long can USAPA put off the east membership from a pay raise and work rule improvements?

What possible reasons do they honestly have for even caring at all about what the seniority list is?

But I will respond to your question. Integrity. The company agreed to accept a list presented if it complied with the companies five requirements. It did that. As I stated before the company lawyers are giving them advice if they stray from the Nicolau they will be deep in it. Turn that question around, why would the company care about negotiating a DOH list? If they don’t care why go off the reservation into uncharted waters from an arbitrated list?

Really? Where is that new contract with your list? Six days in 60 days for negotiation? Shoot, even one of your updates, can't remember which, said at that rate you'd have a new contract in seven years.

The real tyranny around here is you thinking you know everything and that you speak for everyone. That is real tyranny.

Doug Parker is now the spokesman for USAPA? My questions are about USAPA not the company or Parker. If as you say Parker answered the questions they should be easy for someone to write them here. So how about it. Third time I have asked. Why no takers to my questions? These are legitimate questions that any pilot should be asking even blind followers from the east.

East,

OK. Now It's obvious that you're not being serious here.

Still begging for money? I thought that USAPA was going to do it cheaper and more efficient than the former CBA. Yet USAPA still charges the same 1.95%. What seems to be the problem? Going broke quicker than you all planned?

Well maybe if they stopped wasting money on stupid expenses like malicious law suits and foolish USA Today ads. Perhaps they just received the legal bill from Seham.

Running an association is a whole lot harder than bitching about one.

Sure, as noted by "Seriously, as I'm certainly no constitutional scholar." I've often noted in the past that my thoughts are my own, and that I do not represent USAPA in any capacity. I'm somewhat curious sir: Why do you have any interest here in any case?...other than to keep chirping on about how you'll never fly on the involved airline anyway?..that all involved are idiots?...and that you blame both sides?

cleardirect: "Still begging for money?" It's again clear that you're simply not being at all serious here.

OK. Now It's obvious that you're not being serious here.

Are you saying that the company does not have any integrity?

Are you saying that the company does not have any integrity?

I would never even dare suggest such an outrageous idea. I'm curious though. Please construct your argument in favor of the integrity concept, versus the bottom line and fiscal expediency......??? 🙄 Again; You're clearly not being even the least bit serious here.

No need to fret over any devasting legal Leo assaults in the near future then. Guess Nic will have to wait awhile for anyone to ever care about it at all then.
