Entitlement culture

Gimme gimme gimme

You owe me.

That crap don't play in the real world

Its a gift horse, don't look at it in the mouth.

Earn it and deserve it.

People like me? Customers? High Yield Business?

Nice attempt at deflecting from the response to your post but sorry no dice here my friend. You put it out there and if you don't like what comes back at you I'm sorry.

You know what I'm "Entitled" to? I'm entitled to live in Freedom and Liberty, everything else I work for. Occassionally the Tree of Liberty must be watered by the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Tyranny comes in many forms and in many ways ecnomic tyranny is the most powerful. So it should come as no surprise that that freedom loving individuals should band together to persue common interests and goals.

Just as the signers of the Declaration of Independence banded together to escape the tyranny of King of England, so too did Labor to escape the economic tyranny of the Robber Barons of yesteryear. Today sadly the story has changed little as now we have a new breed of economic tyranny. Armed this time with a bevy of lawyers, accountants, consultants and a political system in their hip pocket they seek to send those of us who earn a paycheck (including you) back to the economic stone age.

This leaves the Free Thinking activists be they Libertarian, Anarchist or socialist, the arthritic, flawed dues grubbing unions, and the increasingly fed up general public to fight the tyranny of the global economy, corrupt and morally bankrupt government and its corporate allies.

Those of us who are TRUE Patriots fight for what we believe is right and care not one wit what you or anyone else thinks and that Sir we are "Entitled" to do. I care not if the rope itches, I'm just glad I hissed them off enough to want to hang me.

Like the Klingons say "It is a good day to die"

Merry Christmas to you.

Blah blah blah, you just love to hear yourself speak.

Klingons, libertarians and patriots and declaration of independence.

zzzzzzzz

Hell yeah piney bob!!! Very well said (except for the watering trees with blood lol I don’t think that’s good for the trees ) .

Things seem amiss in America today , when I look out at our fleet of aircraft with the American flag on them ,I wonder to myself , is this what our country is becoming ? When I think about my job and how I’d like to see myself and my co workers in a better situation I can’t help but think about all of the opposition there is out there to Americans making a decent paycheck . People often tell me that if I don’t like the job I should just quit , that there are other options out there , but I say to you , what other options are out there besides crappy and crappy ? Here in Arizona ,you either have a skill and a college degree or you don’t , if not your relegated to low paying jobs .There are exceptions to that rule but they generally involve danger to the individual or activity that could come into conflict with morality . When you speak of economic tyranny Arizona screams of it ,Maybe it’s the illegal work force that has driven down all our wages , or perhaps it’s the anti union mentality of this state and its leadership . When I walk into service stores such as Wal-Mart’s or even targets , I’m reminded of the vast population of Americans who work and live in poverty . With 47 million Americans lacking health care and million upon millions living off of state and federal aide , I ask myself , is this what our nation was meant to become ? That those who work hard day after day should simply eek out a living ? In our times the rich are getting richer and the poor more poor , and while I’m not anti wealth , I don’t think the wealth distribution trend is fair or even in our countries bests interests , make no mistake , I am not an Adam smith capitalist , yet I’m not a Karl max either . There has to be a better way for us to create happiness without sacrificing our lives and liberty to the economic system .

US Airways offers employee bonuses

Through Dec. 5, the airline had met both goals. If that continues through Dec. 31, each US Airways employee will get $100 -- $50 for each goal.

Seems kind of cheap to me. I mean afterall, we pay our dog walker more than that for an overnight stay!

So let's see- a $50 bonus for a five week effort breaks down to $10 per week which breaks down to $2 per day if you work 5 days a week - which seems like you could get a job in a sweat shop in China for about the same amount. Hmmmmm - and Mgt in Tempe thinks this is an incentive? I'll make sure I load the luggage faster on my 10 flights a day for 20 cents a flight - hmmmm - where is the logic in that? Oh never mind - stupid question - forgot it was Tempe we were talking about.

You all need to tell Mgt where to stick there "big" bonus!
