Well, you're right. What WAS ALPA policy in May, 2007, magically acquired "guideline" status in mid-April, 2008. But, as the westies have told us so many times, ALPA had NO PROBLEM at all with the Nicolau award.

Addendum: I'm seeing less and less point in engaging in any attempted debate. In the end?..All must do as they think best out there..and experience whatever consequences attend any chosen course of action/inaction. It'd be nice if some slight epiphany would take place, and result in at least some enhancement in the maturation processes out there...but..I don't see it ever happening with some. It seems that the Dumbo car on the Fantsyland ride's going to have to fall off the pole and impact reality rather harshly instead.

Since it's been around for a goodly long while.....long before the inception of USAPA, I think it's just a relic of the earlier "Nyaaah, Nyaah!...Dudes!..St. Nic and us totally GOT you dudes good!" phase of west fantasy..which the particular poster still subscribes to.

Actually, no. It makes perfect sense that this would have been placed in a west aircraft, because the gate agents are responsible to check crew ID's before letting them board. So an east crew member would not have been on the roster, and denied access. The reverse is true. A west crew member would not have been able to access an east aircraft to place the effigy even he/she wanted to.

The fact that it was found in a west aircraft, if placed by a crew member, indicate almost without a doubt that a westie placed it.

Besides, were there even any east aircraft (and east crew members) on the ground there at the time of the incident?

This whole discusion is pointless, but I just want to remind you that every jetway has at least three access points - and only one of them involves entering through the terminal. In fact, I boarded one of those cute little E190's not too long ago in an airport near you - ramper even gave me the door code. And, for the minute or so I was on board, the plane was otherwise completely empty. And no, there was no "surprise" left behind. Just couldn't overcome my appreciation and fascination for anything that flies - yes, even RJ's..

Meanwhile, if you are absolutely convinced it was a westie, then you are showing an obvious lack of rational thought here. Do you believe in lynchings, too? Because in a literal sense, that is exactly what you are attempting to do to the westyz. Typical eastie behavior here in cyberland.

It was planted by a deranged eastie that specifically flew into St Lo for the occassion..scoped out the situation in hopes of finding an unattended west plane, boarded the nearby west aircraft while no one was looking, and, thinking quickly...removed the ceremonially "lynched" child's doll from his/her bag, never even considering how such would look if said bag was chosen for search by TSA, planted the object in the cockpit...and...ever-so-patiently..waited, throughout the night, in the fragile hope that some ground personnell would discover it and be offended. Yep...makes perfect sense to me. 🙄 Of course..we have another viable notion to cover = It was planted by ST Lo workers, who..seeking to establish claims for a racially motivated "Hostile Work Environment"...naturally selected a "white" doll, labeled as USAPA, for the occasion. In any case? It's scarely even possible that any west folks were at all responsible...I see the "Truth" finally.

I can see it now, all 3 crews fired in a sweeping stroke...they'll take it like hero's and go down together....

Or, their herculean integrity will rear up and the guilty party will take one for "the cause"...whatever that is...

Or, guys will get reeled in for mental instability, which I see more and more evidence of...(and flat out criminal behavior, to boot...)

Soon, enough of this will go public, and bookings will go down, the papers will cover it, and Parker will transform into the grim reaper...and smash a stapler or two...

NLC, you can probably get on at Mesa when the time comes, but you can't hold PHX....probably ORD in the United system...

Who knew that the vast, evil conspiracy of tyranny against the west could ever reach such heights as to go interplanetary? One must never jump to conclusions though. Another theory that exonerates the west would be abetted by the extreme notions currently popular within theoretical physics. Perhaps, in some other universe, an almost identical world exists, wherein....ummm..unlike in ours ...there do exist complete fools within the alternate AWA, who are perfectly capable of the most astoundingly stupid, adolescant, and totally bizzarre actions..and the two universes momentarily overlapped within one aircraft at St Lo.

Your pointless argument about the possibility said "Doll" was planted in St. Louis must mean it takes 6 pilots to fly in.
