US Pilots Labor Discussion

And who organized the turnout at the PHX crew news? That was USAPA, right?

Right? The west pays more per capita than the east for equal position, but the designated agent can't pull off a simple assembly for a crew news? Is cleary getting the tires on the Taurus rotated and doesn't have time for PHX?

I wouldn't put it past Cleary to hire the homeless to dress up in uniform and picket in PHL. I mean the east is beginning to hire off the street, why not USAPA?

People like Ames, snapthis, prechilli, metroyet, cleardirect and aquagreen used to make me mad. With this latest run I realize I should have just felt sorry for them.

What this board, like the airline it is about, has become is really just sad.

The following are two of the latest video's posted by an america west pilot. This person, that is in dire need for anger management, is flying an airplane for Doug Parker, ceo.

Us airways original qualified major airline pilots of the east, Sully's original airline, are embarrassed by the conduct and accusations of this former america west pilot as they attempt to run a safe airline. There is a reason why this pilot was never hired by a real major airline, he was hired by america west originally.

Morning Pi,

Add SumaNos to the list.

I'm headed to the high country for the weekend. Try to find a place that still has trees and not charcoal and leave the glowing embers of this forum behind for a while.

I have asked him to rein it in.

Enjoy your time off. I spent a week at the beach with no flames and it was great!

I don't think the company wanted the age 65 rule changed right up until it happened. Only after it happened did they realize it might benefit them. I was a little closer to 60...more like 59.99 or so. I do appreciate the education on who filed what and when. As for a new contract the company would have moved the target the second they realized that it would have cost them more money. But if what you say is true and you would like a new contract just drop the nic and see if the other lawsuits go away and then we will find out whether or not the company is willing to give a penney without some sort of legal job action after stalling the negotiations for say another 3 to five years.

As for the laughable part I'm always willing to help someone out by helping them laugh.

Regards,

Bob

767,

What I originally posted was just the tip of the iceberg. Again, the west has filed only one lawsuit, and here we are with usapa currently up to its neck with the company DJ, the lawsuit in NY alleging the company is in violation of the RLA, and the Identity theft issue.

I was not trying to pick on you for retaining employment with the age 60 rule change, I was just pointing out that it is all gravy whether it is LOA93 or a new contract. I agree that the company probably did not want the rule change, it kept the highest paid people on the payroll, but in our circumstance when even the highest paid are far below the industry and the competition, the company has an advantage.

As to dropping the Nic, it simply cannot happen. The Nic is the only accepted system seniority list at LCC. Until the company DJ is settled, it is the Nic, there is nowhere else to go, but of course usapa is causing all the delay in settleing the DJ. Just like you are okay with LOA93, the West is completely okay with seperate ops, min fleet, the better contract, until the eventual implementation of the Nic at LCC, or the use of the Nic in any future merger.

In the latest CLT crewnews Parker specifically says, usapa is causing all the delay, and he voiced opinion that their latest lawsuit in NY is entirely frivolous. What a surprise, usapa filing another lawsuit it has absolutely no chance of winning, and causing more delay.

There is a current identity theft litigation case going on right now. Speaking of Eric, I heard he is singing like a bird now. More facts to follow soon.

Best of luck to you sir.

I was refering to Eric A. The guy in the ITT news video you were referencing. Still can't quit laughin about that look on Seeham's face while singing!

Eric F. will obviously have given truthful testimony at his deposition.

Did you see the latest CLT crewnews? Looks like one of the usapa supporters was seeking terminations for this incident. Cracks me up. Here is a guy, who has every intention of stealing West pilot's seniority, seeking the terminations of AOL members. What a maggot. Then the idiot keeps pressing Parker, after being told repeatedly, an investigation is ongoing.

PS. If I were a '99 hire maggot trying to steal somebody elses seniority, I would not want the precedence being set that theft is a zero tolerance termination offense, regardless of circumstance.

Recent West BPR updates state that President Cleary unilaterally initiated the latest law suit. I have heard conflicting stories from East BPR members. What is the real story?

While I'm asking questions does anyone know the status of the MDA lawsuit? That front has been quiet for some time now.

Enjoy your time off. I spent a week at the beach with no flames and it was great!

If you were in Destin or Panama City Beach, I am envious. I am not a big fan of Rocky Point, Mexico. When temps hit 110 around here we head for the hills. No flames in Strawberry, AZ.

Have a good weekend, CP1.

I was non-rev / JS from COS to DEN to home yesterday. DEN had a HUGE storm and so flights in and out were delayed nearly all day long.

A Skywest Captain was good enough to make sure I got the JS to DEN, and we had time to visit. He said that they are so tight on crew that they have a voluntary set up where they can cover trips @ 200%!! This guy is based in IAH (where staffing is better), and he dropped a couple of trips there and picked up trips in DEN @ 200% credit.

This month he will credit out at 160 hours @ his $75 an hour (about 80+ hours block). If you don't have a calculator handy, that is $12,000 gross. Skywest pays 100% Mechanical & DH's too (if I recall the conversation correctly).

WHAT'S IN YOUR WALLET?

Did you give them a resume?

Do you remember the title that was under? I thought I watched it all and don't remember that and I sure don't want to watch it all again. Thanks.

A joint contract is a heck of a lot quicker.

I guess quick is relative, but with the road we have gone down cb53 might be able to go to Skywest and be making more than he is now sooner than he can here.

To get a joint contract someone will have to give up, or lose. Someone will eventually lose, but I think it will be a while and I don't see either side giving up. You?

Despite the gang colors on both sides, the resolution lies with each individual. When the individual's hierarchy of needs is best served by a certain course, then that will be chosen by the individual. I don't hold it against the average East pilot for voting for USAPA because at that time and with what they were told (deceived), that was their best course of action. It hasn't worked out for many (witness: Aherns). USAPA cannot deliver. It's just a matter of time before rational self interest trumps hyperbole, bombast, deception and intimidation.

Did you give them a resume?

I like you Pi, you're funny. If you kids out east manage to Titanic this airline, then yes I will likely have to do that. The good thing is that I have experience in a many aircraft (airline & corporate) that I should be able to pick something up pretty easily.

My point is this: At what point during the FRUITLESS paper chase to DOH will a majority of you realize that you will NEVER recover the money that is presently being LOST. Will you collectively all hold tight to that GOLD STANDARD to the very end, when a judge (again) tells you that FINAL is FINAL and BINDING is BINDING?

If you are a lurker, and have those question marks roving around your head...then join us at: www.reformusapa.com

Even if you don't agree that the Nicolau seniority list will ultimately be the final list, the other two petitions are good for ALL US Airways pilots (a reduction of el presidente's power & a change of the majority vote from 2/3 to 3/5). It is time to pull your head out of the sand and get involved (unless you think that LOA 93 is the way to finish your career).
