JJ your self inflated sense of value is funny. No one is going to call you to testify. You can call yourself a "founding father" all you want. IMO, Jerry Glass was brought in to accomplish two tasks.

1. Successfully bludgeon the AFA into a very modest contract improvement

2. Crush USAPA by any means necessary. IMO based solely upon what I read here, USAPA is a cesspool that ALL pilots must swim in. The average everyday pilot has been screwed more times than a Dutch Whore on a busy Saturday. Jerry Glass knows this. Every time you call each other a name Jerry gets a woody because it's less actual work he has to do for his outrageous fees.

First thing he will do is turn the east pilots on one another and it won't be hard to do as he's done it twice now and a lot of the players haven't changed. Move number two once the easties are busy self destructing he'll come after the west. I suspect he'll leak that a better deal can be had if ALPA is back on the property

By the time he's got you all busy fighting even harder against yourselves the courts will likely have ruled and however that turns out he goes and makes nice nice with the winner and the US Airways Pilot group as a whole get bent over yet a third time in a decade.

The man is an iceberg, USAPA is the Titanic and you dummies are all busy rearranging the freaking deck chairs.

Jerry Glass is a true American Hero. You really need to stop speaking ill of him.

Who is Javurek? I don't think EF really cares. He has bigger fish to fry. JJ reminds me of a kid tugging on mommy's skirt looking for attention. I think the guy Is stressed out about all the phone calls and letters usapa must be getting from angry members. They are going to be running out of people to point fingers at. I think they are out of excuses for failing to deliver on promises made during the card drive.

Actually they DID depose me but it was too late in the deposition phase to get me there. I went on vacation and the remaining week and a half left for depositions meant it was too late. I have the email to prove it.

To be quite frank I really don't care if they do or don't. Contrary to your impression my ego has nothing to prove. As far as the "big kids" you're welcome to continue with banter and name calling. The truth will eventually come out. Unlike you and yours hidden behind board names I'm not afraid to come out and call it like it is.

I am considering a run for BPR this time coming and I have until mid July to put my name in. As far as committees I would love to volunteer but right now, first we have qualified people that I have every confidence in running and secondly I have a business that takes almost all my time when not flying. I could not, in good conscience serve and represent any constiuency fairly with my current obligations if I served on a committee or BPR. As for an officer, that is ONE position that I'm glad Steve, Mark K., mike, Mark T., and the others have the stomach for, I don't care for it, personally.

No matter, you all can believe what you want....I just tell it like it is.

USAPA's legendary cowardice is best exemplified in hiding behind another's name. I mean USAPA hides behind the moniker of a union when it is anything but. Why shouldn't it's ardent supporter?

One of the problems with Glass, as alluded to by another poster, is he doesn't play by the rules. During the retirement give away, there were a few reps that Glass had "dirt" on, two of them moved on to other airlines afterward.

Regardless of how much "unity" a group might have, when he starts his game and pilots start peeing their pants to get a company favorable deal like last time (let my daddy vote), you will know you've been had.

Also, in my opinion, in our case unity went out the window forever once Nicolau was released, and USAPA, by taking away dual ratification is still your fastest way to a new contract, albeit still several years away.

Well because I'm a Customer not a pilot. I read a lot about aviation and I'm mostly unimpressed with pilots unions in general with maybe the exception of DL.

Back in what we called "The Dark Days" I witnessed Jerry Glass just take the US pilots apart piece by piece. I'm telling you Glass will not only win he'll kick your ever lovin' assets all over the country if you don't get your poop together.
