For "Mr. Hate Speech" this sounds very generous. Why not stop by the crew room in PHX? You'd be surprised at the welcome (but hopefully not by the bag stickers).
I have absolutely no problem with disagreement. Even vociferous disagreement. I've been to the crew room there and I'll be there again. I'll even let you know. I'll even let everyone in the crew room know.

Why should I be surprised at the welcome, if any? You are entitled to your opinions, and maybe if more "east/west" crews went to the crew rooms and hung around they just might learn something.

I have no problem with the general support of either side, whether cactus 18 or seniority matters. Catch phrases to be sure. But if people want to throw obvious epithets that are sure to insult and inflame and quite possibly incite hatred, then be prepared to reap what ye sow.

As Gen. Patton would say, from one som oh na b1tch to another....!

It's the same shortage I've been waiting for since 1977. There wasn't even a pilot shortage at Kittyhawk, for crying out loud!

Well Cleary has either feared or ignored the PHX crew room during his tenure. Neither is a particularly admirable trait in a so-called leader. Why should I think the cheering stand should feel otherwise?

But if people want to throw obvious epithets that are sure to insult and inflame and quite possibly incite hatred, then be prepared to reap what ye sow.

So why are you so surprised at being called a scab? Your direct or tacit support of a group that participates in scab activity has earned anyone who does such that moniker. No one has denied you the right to stand up to USAPA and oppose them, and in doing so prove that such a moniker is unfair and unearned.

Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.

First, I been on the airplane three times before, FIRST attempt, no failures.

I wouldn't impune the integrity of any check airman (nor over estimate it) but it is not beyond the realm of possibility that someone checking the individual who is personally responsible for costing them $40K-100K might choose to look at subjective performance through their own "prism" to borrow another poster's phrase.

In other words, as you so fondly say, GOOD LUCK!
 
You are correct about glass. In the past. Remember. Our average age is 58 . What can he take now? Nothing. If he tries anything this time the place will never survive. We would love to exact a piece of him and Doug this time.
Oh yes the dreaded and often repeated but never acted on we will burn this place to the ground threat.

BK2 more pay cuts kept flying.
Pension loss kept flying.
Nicolau kept flying.

If you guys are so fearless and don't need the money or the job. Why all of the blabbering from the union about being the tip of the spear and the union will save your jobs, blah blah blah. If you guys were so ready to burn the place to the ground. Where are the sacrificial lambs? Who is willing to put your head on the block for the union? Take one for the team? No one?

Big talk no action. You guys have cried wolf and threatened to burn the place so often if is a hollow threat and everyone knows it.

BTW do you have an answer for me yet? What do you think the average of the west pilot group is? Because 58 is not the average age of the east pilots.

Because King cleary is doing exactly what we want him to do. Handing us mountains of evidence that usapa has violated their DFR to the west pilots.

You mean the case where going from an established D-O-H list (dovetailing) that was solidified in an established and voted on CBA to an endtailing list?

Barton brands stands for the principle that changing from a DOH list to and entailing one after an established seniority integration can create a DFR against those affected, usually in favor of the minority.

"In summary, since the established seniority rights of a minority of the Barton employees have been abridged by the 1972 collective bargaining agreement for no apparent reason other than political expediency, there seem to be sufficient grounds in this case to support the Board order. We thus are remanding the case to the Board for a determination whether the Union violated its duty of fair representation, and thus committed an unfair labor practice, by successfully negotiating for the endtailing proposal. In making its determination, the Board should consider that in order to be absolved of liability the Union must show some objective justification for its conduct beyond that of placating the desires of the majority of the unit employees at the expense of the minority."

LMFAO, OK yes to retire, well I have outside income PBGC like other people of my generation we make do and adapt, my head on the block? STUPID? I think you better think twice when making this statement. I'm not the "ace of the base" but I've been doing long enough to know what is required of me and when I'm being hoodwinked. Really, with all due respect, do you really believe They would do that.....maybe the west check airmen have their tricks.....

Check airmen don't scare me. Are you insinuating, on a PUBLIC forum,that our check pilots would do that! I'll show them this post and let them opine on it.

Better yet, why don't you tell them I'm coming to training in July so they can prepare for me.

WE luv that MOUNTAINS of evidence, let me guess it will say" WE STOLE THIS INFO AND GUESS WHAT WE THINK WE FOUND!" You truly are a bunch of morons, no one wants a PHX hub, you have no value, and DP will not be able to put HUMPTY together, you played your cards and risked it all, when the music stops those you influenced will be holding the short straw!

REALLY, so what your saying is if your view differs from mine you flunk! Well thank you, our anology of the "SMS" culture of USAIRWAYS is right on, we will forward this post to the SAFETY DEPT and such because it just the thing that we have been talking about! THANK YOU!
