US Pilots Labor Discussion

Do you think anyone believes you?

If it were a sunny day and End_Of_ALPA told me it was dark outside.....I would still believe him over CM. Not that EOA has that kind of influence, but it gives you an idea of the disrespect we have for CM. Maybe 2% of what CM, aka USA320pilot, puts out has any truth to it.

Funny you should mention TWA. I'm a Westie furloughed from TWA. As you may know, the TWA pilots were denied the chance at arbitration and the APA got to impose the seniority list of their making. I have no idea if an arbitrator would've given us anything better but I sure would've liked the chance to find out. So now USAPA is trying to do to the West exactly what the APA did to the TWA pilots. Some company you find yourself with.

Are you claiming that APA gave TWA DOH with conditions and restrictions? Tell the truth. Integrity matters.

That's the trouble with you....because he is the safety chairman for USAPA and he supports safety I guess you don't. I believe you don't believe in safety.

The few who cut their noses off....that would be CM and traitor Jake.

You are correct nobody here believes anything CM has to say. He is the least respected and most hated pilot at this airline and not a very good stick according to the F/Os that work with him. You give him to much credit with 2% truth, he is our company fool, but remember that he has to do what ever the company says, he's just a little puppet. PS Have you thanked Mike and Tracy for getting your job back?

I guess I had you wrong. I'm mainly a lurked here. You seemed like one of the more normal people here. You're just another hysterical name caller. Please understand how insulting to ones intelligence it is when you claim usapa isn't using safety as some kind of DOH weapon. It's sad, immoral and pathetic. IOW, all things USAPA.
You only lurk here? I think you have been here before. AMES

I understand from another US Airways pilot that "The 'Safety First' campaign is clearly a directive from Captain Tom Kubic's safety committee to slow the operations down. Captain Kubic has been placed on notice officially by the company via a letter from LCC that he can be terminated if he continues. We'll see what kind of balls he and USAPA has moving forward."

Normally union officials have indemnity from termination actions; however, this is a very serious step in US Airways' response to the war started by USAPA.

Why has USAPA not informed the pilot group of this major development?
Sounds like the same person that told ames that a clt capt. got fired for something he said to a west f/o. How can anybody read your crap, the only thing " I understand" is that you have a vivid imagination or a lying personality, probably the latter.

Accurate prognostication is a bit like hitting a baseball. If your batting average is plus .290 your good, real good. As far as I know CM has not even fouled one off.

USA320Pilot answers: The information was reported by a US Airways pilot who was a MEC Chairman. He is an honest man with inside connections; therefore, I believe the information is true.

The rest of the story - he also belongs to the AWA lowlife scumbags who have already stolen 24% of the US Airways pilot's jobs, and are doing everything in their power to steal the rest as well.

But, I am absolutely positive that he doesn't have an axe to grind...

Name calling already?

Is it the west pilots that decide what flights are done by which pilots? Would that be management? Stolen 24% of the jobs? really! So you think that you would have another 600 east pilots if the company was not maintaining our contractual requirements? Think again!

At the merger you had 1700 FURLOUGHED pilots they are back now. AWA had none but current do have furloughed pilots what jobs were stolen?

The Nicolau split this new company 2/3 east pilots get 2 of every 3 jobs. How the H#LL do you even think that the west can "steal the rest as well"? You have a warped sense of reality. It is the east pilots that threw out a neutral third party decision in order to force a seniority list that put 85% of the west below FURLOUGHED east pilots. Now that is stealing.

After spending millions of dollars in PIC assessments USAPA discovered their first PIC law firm (Bingham & McCutcheon) had a conflict of interest with State Street Bank & Trust. According to USAPA the union fired Bingham & McCutcheon and replaced them with O'Dwyer and Bernstein because of "its extensive experience in the pension arenas and experience and depth of knowledge of State Street Bank and Towers Perrin."

See Story

However, hold the presses. Mike Cleary, Randy Mowery, Paul DiOrio, and Tracy Parella were the only people to know USAPA was going to file a Status Quo lawsuit against US Airways. Who filed the suit for USAPA? The new PIC law firm of O'Dwyer and Bernstein. The same firm USAPA hired to replace Bingham & McCutcheon to do the PIC work. Why? In my opinion, with USAPA is now operating about $400,000 over budget for the year with no money to defend its illegal slowdown litigation Cleary and his tight inner circle could be using PIC monies to pay for the Status Quo lawsuit against US Airways. If true, where will the money come from to fund PIC after two years of fruitless work? Will their be another assessment, increase in dues, or cut in services?
