Strange world that you live in. It was the east pilots that voted ALPA off the property it was not ALPA that left east pilots.

ALPA did not abandon east pilots. ALPA and Prater tried to trick the system and go outside the merger policy by inventing Rice, DEN and Wye river. ALPA did not abandon you they tried to help you and screw the west yet you still could not be helped. Now you claim they abandoned you.

Alpa abandoned us years befor Wye river. And Rice was sent there to make sure we got screwed. Rice was/is no friend to USAirways pilots east or west.

I have been filling out asap/nasa forms every time I fly etops without an iro or satcom. Any airplane that goes etops by 1 min should have both. You may think him an idiot but I have a much lower opinion of him. Sweet suffering Jesus, the man is an absolute bullsh** machine.

It's hard to argue with STUPID!!!! AOL has put the West pilots in a very bad spot, there is no future out West these days, they realize it and you can tell their desperation. If we did not give them over 25% of OUR flying who knows, I for one am getting tired of subsidizing these kids. They would be on the street if it weren't for us. They are a cancer we have to get rid of!!!! hopefully they will be sold off.

What "illegal slowdown" are you talking about? Everybody I know is extremely concerned with the CLT operation with regard to the RJ's speeding around like cruise missiles. None of them on the taxi lines, and every one of them a real hazard with the speed they taxi. Especially at C concourse at the choke point at the end. Nobody is doing anything illegal. It makes absolute sense to have both crew members heads up, and taxiing at an especially judicious speed to avoid being hit by an RJ. Your allegations are preposterous.

The problem with advanced generation wings like those on the 330, 380 and 787 is that those aircraft are going to be flying out of airports designed for 20th century aircraft and need to be revamped. I just got back from St. Marten again yesterday and the ramp congestion around the C and D concourses are very difficult to negotiate around with the mix of aircraft from commuter to 330 sizes competing for space. Couple that with the inexperience or lack of training given to the ramp tower personal and you get what you have now.

Unfortunately the Charlotte ramp and concourse design needs a revamp. We'll see.

It's also unfortunate that a few pilots will criticize those in the same profession to advance childish agendas over genuine safety concerns. It's no surprise on this forum and I fully expect the jabs and barbs to fly my way. I wonder why this seems to be the only airline where the pilots consider privilege over principle a god given right.

I am not going to point fingers at anyone. The bottom line is everyone is doing themselves and the company a favor by using extreme caution, especially in CLT. The pushes put large numbers out on the ramps at the same time, with extremely limited space. Especially at the tip of C with a heavy nearby, or a large RJ push that sends them to spot 2. Make as much fun as you want. I just hope it doesn't happen to you.

I've got to tell you son that all that hate is going to eat you up. Leonidas is the organization that is simply keeping you from cashing your date of hire lottery ticket.
