What was the result of the Delta Northwest arbitration? Frontier Republic? the Shuttle?

All basically slotting by equipment and status just like the USAirways America West arbitration.

Four arbitrations in a row say slotting by equipment and status is fair and DOH is not.

The Merger Committee asked for, no, insisted on date of hire through negotiation, mediation, and finally binding arbitration.
Nicolau even gave an 11th hour chance to come off that position, but the will of the East was to stand fast on DOH.

Changing horses after the race has already been run won't change the outcome. In fact, it won't even be a photo finish.

You know...where the deep down stupidity is that you guys don't truely understand the situation here because of greed.

The East pilots are pushing the company for a contract that is much better than any AWA contract in history. You have 3200 East pilots who are willing to give it up for the whole pilot group in order to improve working conditions in this freakin sweat shop, which you will own in about 6-8 yrs. But because you think you have a freakin lottery ticket, you will not join in on the quest. The 3200 East pilots are willing to put their jobs on the line...to the point of losing their jobs to improve things here. If you haven't got the balls to join in and fight for the cause, at least ride their coat tails and gain something for yourselves. Your sacrificial lambs are already lined up to do what is necessary to make a change.....and you're too stupid to see anything but the fukin NIC.

The East pilots are close enough to retirement that they feel that there is nothing to lose, yet you can't grasp the idea that you have something to gain by riding this out and at the least not hammering them at every chance you get.

Yep...4 years and only 7 sections closed, but why? All of the lawsuits are holding things up.....starting with Addington, the 9th, and the AOL threat to bring DRF II, on and on. (not blaming all on the West) All parties are awaiting court rulings to see what cards to play next.

I really can understand your feeling of being along for the ride and not being at fault, but life goes on while we await the court rulings.

IMHO, we need to find a way to break this cycle of management benefiting from all the delays and use our energy to move forward instead of poking each other with sharp sticks.
