Well boys, just woke up from a very long nap, to learn that we are hiring and also calling for Aug, Sept, and Oct leaves of absence. Fact is the West flying is going to reduce 25 to 30 percent for the next three months which will lead to the the liquidation of the West, and growth of the East.

PS so long sliver , gold and platinum cactus backers, what a waste of west pilots' salaries...................

Reduce the west by 25-30%. How do they get around the min block hours? So the company is going to violate the T/A and usapa as weak and useless as they are will let it happen? Will they let it happen because it is the west and usapa really does not represent the west fairly. Is that what you are saying?

We are one company now there is no east west for accounting purposes. So if the west liquidates guess what, so does the east there will be no growth on the east.

Where do you guys make this stuff up?
 
I did not intend to start up the who bought who arguement again, But since I started it, I will try to lay this to rest.

You said that I was the only person who believed a company had a reincarnation when it "comes out of bankruptcy, issues new stock, and mergers with another company".

Please show me where in the annual report or in Parker's crew news quotes you have posted that leads you to believe that is what happened. The new stock is not in AAA, it is in LCC, an entirely new corporation. AAA did not issue new stock, then merge with AWA. Barbell (i.e. the money) merged with AWA (not AAA), THEN, AWA had the money to buy AAA, then new stock was issued to all the creditors, AWA stockholders being the largest single creditor and owning by far the largest share of LCC stock.

Further, you were not around for it yet, but prior to the merger, AWA had crew news sessions. In those sessions the entire transaction was never presented to the AWA employees as you depict, or even as the post merger Parker downplay of AWA's role. It was always, "we are buying USAirways". Perhaps that was an oversimplification of the transaction that was occuring, however, It was much closer to the truth than your "emerge from bankruptcy, issued new stock, then merged" scenario.

So, go ahead and read Parker's statments you quoted. He says "some people put in a bunch of money". What he fails to mention is they gave the money to AWA in exchange for stock in the new corporation.

My point from the beginning is that it is a new corporation, not the "once great company" that Cleary talks about in his idiotic update about people getting fired over an illegal job action that usapa has started because it is too dumb to realize they are not getting a DOH contract.
This is really a stupid argument. The only reason I take you to task for it is because you WISH to imply that the AWA "Team Tempe" consortium and their shareholders, shareholders of the AWA stock had an obligation to YOU to keep YOU employed....they could give a rats a$$ about you anymore than the shareholders of the LCC stock we have now care about all of us.

OK. I was typing quick and gave three steps not necessarily in order....let me rephrase it...more like 1. Merged, 2. Leave Bankruptcy and 3. Issue stock. Most likely all three happened at the same time....maybe give or take a few seconds.

I tell you what....I TRANSCRIBED the meeting Parker had in the .pdf file I already uploaded to this thread called "What's in a name?"Why don't you read it? It is a virtual transcript of the very discussion we are having now. I listened to the tape four + times to make sure I transcribed it correctly but you can go back on the hub and listen yourself, I think it's still there.

However, the money went to US AIRWAYS post merger....PERIOD. Not until the transaction was consummated did the money even come in.

The new stock issued was listed for the SAME COMPANY with the SEC after the merger as it was before. Only the NAME....LCC....was registered with the SEC so as not to confuse the OLD stock AAA, that was invalidated in bankruptcy of US Airways coming out of bankruptcy. You confuse stock listing with incorporation....not the same!

THE COMPANY IS THE SAME, I ALREADY POSTED THE REPONSE FROM PARKER AND THE SEC. Your lack of understanding regarding investments and the stock market have obviously not served you well. You are wrong and any competent investment advisor will tell you so....unless they were formerly airline pilots, then I would run in the opposite direction.

Tell you what, YOU BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT....YOU'RE JUST WRONG and make you're argument out to pontifficate how truly ignorant you really are.

My theory is that he is a west pilot trying to keep the pot stirred so that the cash keeps flowing. Since the badge backer peer pressure is about to go away and all.

A New Jersy Jury has found ALPA liable to the TWA pilot group (Bensell et all) for a violation of the Duty of Fair Representation arising out of the senioirity integation in the American Airlines / TWA merger.

The jury's decision is to laibility only and a damgages trial will follow at some future date.

In other words, DFRs aren't that difficult to win when the facts support the case. Just like Addington two years ago, which turns out was just the test run. DFR II should be no different than Addington I and TWAvALPA. ALPA made the case for the TWA pilots which is no different than USAPA, only USAPA has taken it several steps beyond ALPA.

Let's say that you are right, DFR II is a sure win for the west. Just a WAG, as things stand now with no other events popping up, how long do you see to get to that victory? I'm just looking for you opinion, not to debate it. Thanks.

Peer pressure, no not really. Pride yes.

My bet is we will see usapa scream about this issue not Leonidas. Without the peer pressure of cowardly yellow lanyards and angry red badge backer how will King Cleary know who his supporters are? He may actually stumble across and have to talk to someone who disagrees with him.

The cash is going to keep flowing to Leonidas to pay for our defense. without section 29 could you say the say thing about usapa? what have they actually accomplished so far?

I have yet to find EAO right on anything - that, I have learned. He seemes bound and determined to pass his opinion off as fact, but he gets disproven every time.

Maybe he originated the USAPA "It's fact because we say it's fact" party line.
