So, I have to ask, what is a total lie?

We know for a fact that during the UAL/LCC merger talks, that usapa ran to the 9th and filed for an emergency decision to be rendered. That is a matter of court record.

Further, we know that Cleary and Mowery attended a meeting in PHX, immediately preceeding usapa's filing, requesting the emergency decision from the 9th.

So, far from a lie, the speculation or rumor is that usapa helped f-up the UAL merger, and turned down significant improvements for its pilots, all in an attempt to avoid the Nic.

What I wanted to ask Parker would simply either support or disprove the rumor.

Then you won't have any problem with El Presidente, Not-so Mini-Me Presidente and a company spokesperson being asked that in the next courtroom event? I certainly don't have a problem with that.

AOL was not even in existence when the east stormed out of joint contract negotiations. Nor was AOL around while the east held the representational vote.

The very first AOL organizational meeting occured months after the formation of usapa, I think even after usapa passed the company rejected DOH list at the bargaining table.

The company got the delay idea from merger 101 school. Pit the two work groups against each other, and see which idiots will undercut the other groups wages.

In our case the bigger idiot was the east pilot group. The east took the bait, hook, line and sinker. East..we want pay parity...company...pay parity will be reached through a joint contract.....East...we want DOH seniority integration....company.....we are remaining nuetral in the seniority integration process, but would like to see our labor groups do fair integrations......East...we are going to vote in a new union and force seperate ops and low wages indefinitely.....company...really? oh, that would be soooo terrible, please be reasonable with us.

Riiight. They took the bait, yet it's their fault that the UA merger fell through, because they took the bait?. It would be nice if you could stay consistent. Oh, that's right, you are, no matter what it's the east's fault! I'm wondering how it will be our fault that Delta and Comair collided in BOS!

Ask him. But you need to accept the answer. There is a certain "We hate you guys!" pilot that asked Doug a few questions that he didn't like the answer to. My favorite led to the "death knell of AWA" comment. I bet he wished he didn't ask.

While you're at it, you could ask Doug to confirm that USAPA is responsible for global warming.

I never layed blame for the failure of the UA merger.

You said you thought the company got its delay idea from AOL.

I pointed out that AOL was formed way later in the game, and therefore could not be the origin of any "delay idea".

Now had you said the company got its, lets go to court and prove Seeham wrong idea from AOL, then I may have agreed with you.

Sorry, I meant to answer that. That part was a little bit TIC, but, they did file it after taking full advantage of the excuse that they were waiting on the Addington.

You've got it figured out, it's amazing how many west pilots still don't. West guy after west guy gets up and tries to pin Parker with the tough question, with the same result, egg on our faces and more talking points for the east. I wouldn't ask Parker squat.
 
Rumor has it that Cleary & Mowrey turned down a Delta wage/ AWA Contract 2004 during the last UAL merger attempt because they would have to accept the Nicolau award.


Now that is just down right funny. You really believe that statement above? None of the Big Three Airline CEO's will ever let Doug and Scott take their airline's over. Why would they ever want their Airlines destroyed by the AWA Dream Team in Tempe?
 
Do you not even understand basic facts? Your guy said that using the NICOLAU would only delay at the most east pilots 2 years. Look at that pretty little blue and red dot waterfall you all swooned over a couple years ago. Using DOH would delay west pilot upgrades about 6-10 years.

So I will ask you your own question if it is only 2 years what is your problem with the Nicolau?
More of your basic BS, you wait 6-10? But we only wait 2 or is it that 6-10 upgrade now and the EAST wait, you are so full of sh%t, keep your attrition! It works better economically for us, besides PARKER will NEVER put enough money on the table to, accept the NIC, let him close PHX, and give away EAST attrition! MM!

So, you are quite confident that this event NEVER happened? I wonder if anyone could look back at Cleary & Mowrey's travel and pin point the supposed day this event may/may not have happened. I wonder further if anyone could document Cleary & Mowrey's next move from this non-event....perhaps to the legal counsel & then to the courts to seek a quicker resolution to the Nicolau / Date of Hire?

Take your "NIC GOGGLES" OFF!!!........WE HAVE NO MANAGEMENT IN TEMPE WORTHY OF RUNNING ANY OF THE BIG THREE AIRLINES!!!!!!!!! The industry has NOT and will NOT let it happen.

Okay it's TRUE are ya happy?, would have never gotten by on the EAST, happy now, "WE DON'T GIVE a SH#T " SUE AGAIN!MM!
