USAPA leadership won't put a contract with the Nicolau Award out for a vote because they're cowards.

They know a contract with a decent pay raise would pass.

You idiot....Parker has already told you what he thinks "decent" is.....and it's still the lowest pay in the industry
....
......
Are you going to vote on a contract with no minimum fleet........you will be out of
a job......but you find that acceptable since you are so moral and magnamimous??????????

DEFLECT!!!!

Answer the question: When three parties agree to binding arbitration, what does that mean? Does that mean that it really isn't binding if you don't like the outcome? Its chicken-$*%& behavior from the east.

You make an agreement you live up to it...you would be calling out Mgmt if they didn't live up to a binding agreement.

In your heart, you know I'm right, no amount of cognitive dissonance is gonna get you through it.
We will find out if your definition of "binding " and the courts definition are the same. This has been beaten for hundreds of pages on this forum and the courts will make that decision not you or I. Now tell how it is living on $ 2800 a month.

No, but if that's what it takes for USAPA to cram down DOH, then you will. And alot less.

Who's the idiot then?

It's USAPA's job to get a decent contract from him even though he doesn't want to give it.

Too bad idiots like you don't understand that and have destroyed any leverage we might have had to get one.

You are a idiot Trader, a union is only as good as it's membership, like they say you want a contract EARN IT.

Just proves how BAD the majority of the membership are for keeping the USAPA leadership in power.

Nothing to show for 3 years because they're more interested in stealing West jobs than improving our pay and working conditions.

We have to earn it and there's a legal way to do it but guys like you won't put their money where their mouth is.

You think yellow lanyards and Distance Learning is all it takes.

It's now game on between USAPA and US Airways. I believe US Airways COO Robert Isom cannot blink or the Company will forever lose posture. USAPA is telling its members to defy and disobey their superior's orders. That's insubordination. How will US Airways respond to USAPA President Mike Cleary's letter to Isom?

Will USAPA sacrifice more junior pilots with even more F/Os terminated?

Plenty of time, never heard me complain about seperate ops, LOA93, Cleary, Who is trying to steal your job? Delusional you are my friend, you have a job on a seniority list remember, how will it go away? Contract in 5 years? Alot can happen in 5years, especially in this world economy, I'll be retired from USAIRWAYS, yes and not only am I prepared to I probably will retire on 93, Hey moron if you get your head out of the sand you might just see it aint USAPA stalling, where's the F/A's CBA? MM! Turn down your A/C!

It's USAPA that's stalling. Period.

Res, I think it's time for a refresher course for you and your friends about scabs, here is you refresher course. Please read about your hero Dan Cloud!!!!
Let me give you a little refresher on the nature of scabbing courtesy of Mr. Jack London:

Where others have hearts, he carries a tumor of rotten principles.

When a scab comes down the street, men turn their backs and angels weep in heaven, and the devil shuts the gates of hell to keep him out. No man has a right to scab as long as there is a pool of water deep enough to drown his body in, or a rope long enough to hang his carcass with.

USAPA is perverting decent society and acceptable tradition to gain something it could never attain without stealing from another pilot group. That is the core definition of a scab. You can quote Websters dictionary until you're blue in the effing face; USAPA = SCAB. IOW, USAPA IS a SCAB. Just because you invented a new avenue for scabbing, doesn't make you any less of a scab.

That's an easy one. The majority will follow the advice of their leaders and make it very difficult for the company to get compliance with the lanyard issue. They will show solidarity which is what the company is so frightened over. Lanyards mean nothing but the company knows that if you can show unity in small things; you will likely show unity when it really counts.

The union has not said to be insubordinate. Quite the opposite. Read what they said again. The losers that are determined to insure that we stay the lowest paid will comply and make excuses and jump when the company says jump. Solidarity is the key; always has been the only real strength any union has ever had. The company is placing it's bets on guys like you.

And what 'leverage' that we 'might' have had is that? You mean the leverage that ALPA was sure to produce? You really are misguided...

If the pilots blink, and I mean all of us, we lose forever our ability to get a contract, ANY CONTRACT. You guys say this is or that is my opinion. Well, I will agree with the first half of this statement. The company now wants yours soul.

You can say want you want, but the pilots here are not going anywhere, east west alpa usapa, the pilots. No contract, and increasing lawsuits. If the pilots dont choose SOMETHING to show any ounce of unity then we truly get what we deserve and you will NEVER get a contract of ANY kind. The flight attendants have had enough and were in the same boat as them.

YOU HATE USAPA. OK, but letting the hate blind you to the future will lead us into intransigent armageddon. We may already be there and in that case forget everything.

I'm going to try and refrain from the boards from now on. If you want a contract, you'll have to address it in other ways and not on the forums.

GOOD LUCK to you all.
