DOH? Please. I have ZERO worry about DOH. In fact, I dont think USAPA will be around in the not to distant future.

To the East: Somebody figure out which pilot on the East from the Nic list will take the biggest haircut financially and then look at the chart and ask yourselves has all of this rancor and vitriol been worth it? Especially in light of a potential assessment.

To the West: Where would you be wage wise if you accepted DOH?

I'm thinking that even if your raises were even 1 to 3 percent per year in 6 years you'd likely be better off in dollars and cents terms at least. IMO the longer this goes on the bigger the haircut

Thanks for the link. Some of that was a bit over my head but I think I got the general point. Thank you.

Having been on here for quite a while many of the cast of characters on the one chart are names of people I don't particularly respect very much dating back to the BK's. Given the context of where we are today I think USAPA was created not so much to "Screw" the west as it was to enrich themselves at the expense of the entire pilot group.

They have somewhat of a track record in that regard. Some of your guy are no prize either.
 
Usually in large company's the Labor Relations/Human Resources have a VP or Sr VP level person that reports directly to the Very top.

IMO Isom is involved because the data used to prepare the request for a Temporary injunction would come from Operations. Isom is also likely acting as point man as US wants it to look like their top people are on this due to the safety issues raised.

Regardless of whether there are real MTC issues or not or if the request for injunctive relief has merit doesn't really matter as the turd (In the form of the USAPA ad) is still floating in the bowl of public perception.

Actually I'd like to see a settlement so that things improve for everyone, Execs, CHQ, Flight Crews, Front liners, back liners and finally customers as that has been the cornerstone of my argument. Herb Kelleher said it best.'

“You put your employees first. If you truly treat your employees with respect, they will treat your customers well, your customers will come back, and that’s what makes your shareholders happy. So there is no constituency at war with any other constituency. Ultimately, it’s shareholder value that you’re producing”.

When/if US gets to that place then I'll either be dead or quiet.

Maybe he's just Piney-ing for the way things used to be (or dreams they were).
