You have had some time now. Would you care to explain how you were not furloughed yet lost 1800 positions to west pilots? I showed you the number that DOH hurts west pilot far more than Nicolau hurts east pilots.

Any comment?

If we damaged as many aircraft as you guys do I guess we would think it was unsafe too. How about you all stop breaking aircraft.

TPA -737 totaled
CLT east 330 hit a west 321
Hartford driving a 737 off the taxiway racing a west airplane to the gate.
Shooting an airplane in the air.

How about you guy stop being unsafe!


That low visibility takeoff in Hawaii sure was close wasn't it? I'm amazed that the West Crew thought they could "safely" takeoff a fully loaded 757 in 4500 feet of runway. Almost lost it from what I heard. Just one of many close calls the West has had.

Just got back from Europe, sorry for the delay.

When the NIC came out, comparing my seniority, there was a difference of 1800 numbers between the NIC and DOH lists. I do not have a copy of the NIC anymore due to a melt down with my last computer a couple of years ago. I don't know what you're looking at, but you are taking a guess. I was hired Nov/86, if that will help. I have never been furloughed. I could be off, but that is the way I recall it. If you can attach a copy of the NIC, I would like to take another look at it. You might be able to show me differently.

So do you still agree with USAPA's strategy of alienating the west with "no Plan B" necessary? How would you imagine this whole debacle being different with 5000 unified pilots and a leader who wasn't a psychopath?

the arrogance of putting a 17 year guy....well you know......regardless of each sides argument.....had
NIC not been lazy in his final product this thing was salvageable......but when you (NIC) disregard
the massive givebacks to save U ,,,AND THEN PENALYZE that same group because of those givebacks....
well you get what you get. Most of us will be gone in 5-10 years.....wish things could have been different.....
but the fact is MOST east guys WILL NOT trade their seniority for a minimal pay raise......let me ask you
......to get labor peace....what is your guess as to what Parkers TOP offer will be for a AB/737 Capt
and will that be enough to accept NIC........it may be in Parkers hands and then we will see!!!

Didn't Spirit get upwards of $170 per for an A320 Capt.....where would that put a 330 Capt..$190/$200 per
you seriously think Parker will do that...dude ..that's a 50K raise .......if you thik Parker is going to do that

I really don't care where anyone on the east will be in 5-10 years. I don't think I should be held hostage for 5-10 years before any contractual improvements can be negotiated, just so that the east can continue to accrue what an arbitrator and 3 neutrals felt they were not entitled to. I also don't think that the union that accepts my money should openly choose sides in a dispute and use that money to withhold contractual improvements so that one side is advantaged at the expense of the other.

The result is a "union" in name only and which can never produce results of any value for all its members. The threat of strike is completely removed and with it the only hope of leverage in negotiations, thanks to the short fuse of the short leader. Now USAPA can either take what Parker's generosity provides, or fold up shop after the last angry F/O claims what he thinks he's entitled to and secured under No Bump No Flush.

Regardless of how much hatred there is of ALPA, what dues paying pilot can respect such an organization whose only principle is "The End Justifies the Means"?

But sadly it has lost control of what that end actually is.

Would those who like to fantasize about splitting the airline (AMR and Republic seem to be popular taunts) accept the pilot group being split into two representational units for as long as separate operations are conducted? The east could have USAPA and the west could have whoever they choose.

They already said they'd be willing to pay West pay rates plus 8%, about $154.

I hope you're not on the Negotiating Committee.

As an outsider looking in, let's just assume for the sake of argument that Monday morning 6AM EDT, all of the pilot disputes are magically dissolved and the groups are united and focused on a better CBA.

NK is making money and quite a bit of it paying at the a fore mentioned rate of $170.00/hr if I read right. In my mind, if Spirit can make a profit at $170/hr then US can too or they don't deserve to be in business and USAPA should shut the place down ala Eastern Airlines. Repeat after me "Full Pay Until The Last Day"


I mean we are comparing US to Spirit here, not friggin' LH or DL. A company whose culture is one of being openly cheap and making no bones about it. If they can find $1700/hr so can Parker. Budweiser isn't THAT expensive. Can't help wonder if he "borrows" it from catering? :lol: :lol: :lol:

It's a job you moron, if your working more than 15 days here shows me you don't have the knowledge or skill to find other things to supplement your lowly life! you truly are pathetic! MM!
