US Pilots Labor Discussion

We asked for 26 and were then asked what "operational requirements" we needed. We said that we needed the same operational requirements as the Dash 8 that just took off runway 26.

So you lied? Or is there a specific Dash ops requirement that presumably the A320 series also has requiring that specific runway - I'd like to hear that...

Not one westie was listening, much less, thinking, apparently. Is this normal in PHX?

Maybe they were all listening and were busy laughing at your "Dash 8" operational requirements. Do you land on 26 in PHL like the Dashes too...you could brag about saving more fuel

See the problem, jim?

Yeah, you gamed the system and got away with it. Not surprising since you're trying to game the legal system to get what you want. Whadya want for playing fast and loose with the rules - a gold star?

Jim

First of all, at this point in time, the only jobs/careers that you "own" are in PHX and we sure as hell are not interested in anything that you have. Are you suggesting that you "own" the careers on the East side? Pure greed! I haven't seen any of you guys in the east metal cockpits. IMO, that is where the greed lies...you think you "own" it all...that kind of entitlement thinking is going to bite you in the butt. We have everything still intact and will never see one of your butts owning anything on the east in the next several years. Like I posted before....our seniority is worth the fight....we have nothing to lose at this point. You guys are naive to think we will give up anything.

Keep your pathetic careers....pretty bold talk for someone who's only possesion is their AW date of hire.

breeze

Very bold talk from you Breeze.

Let me get this straight. You desire to force seperate ops, in the hopes that you can capture 100% of east attrition, so that you can requalify into the industry's lowest paid captain position, after a 30 year career, and you are disrepecting the West position?

Well, the simple answere is, the West will keep our higher paying, better contract, "pathetic careers".

Those westies did not even ask to use 26. Not a one.

It could very likely have to do with experience, apparently. (Yeah, it was the very experienced (20+ year) copilot who actually suggested the plan of action). Even a 7 year SWA pilot could have figured that out, but then, they are not pounded down continually by tempe cretins.

See the problem, jim?
You must have forgotten. The PHX pilots have loads of experience and after asking for 26 several times and being refused we know not to ask. It is awaste of time and b
clogs the freq. If the tower is going to assign 26 they do. Just like coming from the south. Approach knows that we prefer 26 and will give it to us if they can. There is no need to ask everytime.

So with your inexperience operating into PHX, the tower granted you a gimme as a rookie that one time.

I love posts like these... they are so stupid you get a good laugh out of them.

Ya. That's a reason I stay here. This forum makes me laugh.

The other reason is to teach easties the truth.

Oh, USAPAs request to dismiss or change venue to NY was denied.

Friday it is.

What a surprise...now usapa legal is like 0-30-1.

Can't wait to hear usapa's defense on this one. I am guessing it will go something like this..."but judge...it just ain't fair...whaaaaa"

Yeah, like 20 single engine taxi'ers waiting for takeoff on 25R, and we taxied with two engines for seven minutes, taking the initiative to request and get 26. Who saved more gas?

You may be following your orders but like anyone stepping over dollars to pick up pennies you completely miss the point. Forest for trees, etc.

No wonder Mr. Parker despises you all, you are like unthinking robots.

Hey Clubb,

You do that in PHL also? Ask for takeoff on 27R instead of waiting with all those fools for 27L?

Pocket change compared to USAPA's legal expenditures since it's inception.

$eeham will be sending a few more staffers kids to college on what USAPA will spend on the Declaratory Judgment and appeal.

On another note, and since you "luvthe9" perhaps this job listing would be of interest to you. Challenging flying in the old Douglas, right up your alley!

Would it not seem rather foolish to ask for a runway that takes more time to taxi to? You guys really fly airplanes, for a living?

Who would hire someone who thought like that?

Oh, yeah. Never mind.

BEST 2 MILLION EVER SPENT ON LITIGATION! 😀 Hey, do you fellas need a little extra help paying USAPA legal bills.....Oh, wait. I think you are near the MAXIMUM allowed to take. Gee, it looks like Cleary may have spent USAPA into a llittle deficit. See you on Friday. We'll see how USAPA's legal team fares.

BTW, is it true that SSM&P declined to represent USAPA in it's NY Status Quo case? I'm curious if that is true, and if so for what specific reason. Being a "transparent union", you shouldn't have any trouble finding out.
