US Pilots Labor Discussion

You got that right with Team Tempe. Even if they get a win on LOA 93. There is no way the East group rolls and takes the Nic. We have seen the way this group operates. Any contract deal will take years. The company would then keep the contract away as long
As they possibly could. Both sides would be held at the lowest and next lowest pay for as long as Parker could do it. The only upside is for Parker. The West pilots can high five all they want. They are locked in the best situation any airline CEO could imagine. Seeing how the West sided with the company in the supposed slowdown, there is no expectation the two sides could ever get together. There is no win for either pilot group. Either side.
So you're mad at the west for siding with the company for something that you guys say never happened? Or supposedly happened? Interesting. I'm mad at you because you may or may not have stolen something. Nope, can't make it work.

And if the west did allegedly side with the company over this supposed slowdown, how, theoretically did we do so? And BTW, we're not even second or third or even fourth worst. You can look up contracts on the Internet and compare. You are, however, correct in that you are the lowest paid. And if your idea of satisfaction is to stay that way then the company will make sure of it.

Any contract deal will take years. I would imagine Parker would hammer the West guys first chance he gets. All in the name of corporate prosperity. The company would then keep the contract away as long as possible. The acceptance of the NICOLAU from the East ensures no smooth forword contract movement.

Did not the Real USAir pilots not give the western division pilots profit sharing? Did that olive branch get you anything in return from western pilots? It did not as I see here. It got you nothing. The same will happen if you accept Niclou. You will get what you got with profit share. You will accept something unfair and will rue the day you combine with the disciples of Bill Franke. spurn any and all offers Franke Air offers.

Hang on there partner! "Give" the west profit sharing?!? How do you figure that you had the right to give us something during negotiations for a TA. You gave us nothing. The west negotiated profit sharing with the company directly. You had nothing to do with it. Your posts are generally out there but this one us the winner. Wow!!

Just so you'll know there is a significant history here dating back to 2002 of US Airways Executives being members and posting here. Often in a highly inflammatory manner.

It also well known that now Tempe at least monitors this board as in EVERY DAY. Now this is first hand info not internet BS.

Back when I had my other screen name I was a Chairman's Preferred and like now I was VERY vocal with a strident point of view. At one point I was actually "assigned" to someone in Tempe if I had any open issues I was to call "Jessica". Well one night and several Gin & Tonics into that evening Kirby said something publicly that really annoyed me and I nuked him big time. Way over the top. Well about 1PM EDT I get a call from "Jessica" who not so calmly replied, "What the hell was that post about last night". I was floored. Then after chatting for a bit I found out that first thing her work group did was have someone check FlyerTalk and here to see what I had written. This was not done on a whim but at someones direction.

They don't trust their customers or their employees and both groups return the favor. During the dark days at US we had the following posters from US Management. Barry Biffle, Chris Chiames, Jerry Glass, Al Hemingway, Bruce Ashby & CEO Dave Seigel posting.

I offer this up in order to show you the possible context for some of the reactions you receive on here. I don't know who you are exactly, nor do I care, but given your verbal skills and the way you ask questions it appears you've had at least some legal training along with some manners. These factors would lead many to believe you're an executive at US. I welcome you to the debate, just bear in mind that you've created a perception that you're one of "Them". Also I appreciate the civility of the exchanges,

I yield back the balance of my time

The "STAY ON TOPIC" is a cleardirectism. She can' t hide her as&$holism

Would it not seem rather foolish to ask for a runway that takes more time to taxi to? You guys really fly airplanes, for a living?

Who would hire someone who thought like that?

Oh, yeah. Never mind.

Yeah, never mind is right.

Let's see, spot 11 echo sierra 27L takes a lot more time than spot 11 echo kilo 27R. Riiiight.

Did not, the not give, give not give????

If you want people to take your advice, first you have to let them know what your advice is.

Did not the Claxon not give the east advice and not give a correct statement on profit sharing?

Now that I have read your first sentence numerous times.....you are correct!!! The east did "not give the western division pilots profit sharing?"

WRONG. You didn't give anything but buyers remorse. The profit sharing is part of the transition agreement AND status quo was followed (as it should have been).

Nos; we tire of your revisionist history lessons. School is now in session. Class starts this Friday morning in court. Try not to get any chalk dust on that three stripe suit..🙂

Claxon asked: "Did not the Real USAir pilots not give the western division pilots profit sharing?"

USA320Pilot comments: Profit Sharing was part of US Airways' POR and the Pilots' Transition Agreement (TA). The Transition Agreement, agreed to by the Airline parties (both MECs and US Airways), provided Profit Sharing for all of US Airways' pilots. It takes the entire business entity to earn a profit (except now where it appears certain East pilots and USAPA are about to get spanked hard for committing a crime, which according to management has cost US Airways $40 million) and every pilot has contributed to the company's profits; therefore, they deserve and are contractually entitled to profit sharing when US Airways produces an annual profit.

Furthermore, I believe the "Real USAir" pilots are the ones who do not break a promise, do not violate Section 4 of the Transition Agreement that requires the Nicolau Award to be implemented by the Airline Parties, do not try to staple virtually and entire pilot group to the bottom of a joint/merged seniority list, and after tomorrow, are not part of a group that breaks the law/commits a crime.

When is it o.k. to break a promise, violate a contract, or commit a crime?

In addition, US Airways does not have a Northern, Southern, Eastern, or Western Division. And, I believe this type of thinking is divisive.
