WOW!! What put everyone's knickers in a twist? Things were pretty civil here the last few days. Any way I thought this article might be of interest given the current safety issues.

Don't ask me what this survey means when a lie flat seat is nearly as important as safe operation. The 84% that ranked safety number one however does say something as well. Kind of make you wonder about the 16%
1st-class fliers: Safety first, but next up is lie-flat seat
By Charisse Jones, USA TODAY
What do first-class and business-class fliers want from an airline?
British Airways offers lie-flat beds on some flights.
That depends on the trip, and from what part of the world they're flying.
For most, it's safety first. But a seat that lies flat enough to mimic a bed is also valued for long overseas flights, according to a study released earlier this month by the GBTA Foundation, the Global Business Travel Association's research wing.
"What we saw through this survey was really that premium travelers are looking for comfort and convenience, as well as safety," says Joe Bates, the foundation's research director. "You can have comfort through service that's being offered, that higher class of service (or) … through entertainment options available to you."
Of the more than 1,650 premium-class fliers across the globe who were surveyed, 84% say that an airline's safety record and reputation matter most when deciding which carrier to fly. And 67% says it's important that the carrier offers seats that fully recline.
