Since you hate the company you work for with such a passion, why not leave. You should be OK on your PBGC and investment portfolio. And don't forget there's always this:

I guess because I have over 30+ years and still have a glimmer of hope that something good might happen here, don't all laugh at once. I did put a resume in with them, don't know if you have been up there but I love Alaska.

Any other airlines in that list?

How the east can even dare bring up DOH is beyond me.

I also have hopes that something good will happen for all the hard working employees of USAirways, East and West. The employees have really been the mortar between the bricks that have kept this thing pluggiing along through respective bankruptcies.

Best of luck with that Alaska job. It could be a lot of fun and rewarding in more than monetary returns.

And how do you think that "mortar" I guess I should say east mortar has been treated over the last several years?

Yes, and the idea is NOT to be on that list, oh well. So you think because other airlines are their it's OK for us to be their?
Airlines are always fodder for those lists. I wouldn't put any credence into those things. One time you're there and the next time you're not. They create those for small minded people who fall for that kind of crap.

So I understand why you made that post.

It's easy to hate companies and even easier tomgive them bad marks on a survey. AT&T is the most recent addition to my "never do business with them again" list. Some low level worker in their RMA department intentionally damaged my phone under warranty and then wrote it up as if I did it and then charged me to replace the phone. Okay that sucked but the customer service person I talked to should have easily been able to pull up my previous support call and verified that what I was saying was true. They didn't and their resolution person was only willing to split the cost with me. I told them their own employee damaged my phone and if they were going to make me pay for a replacement I would cancel my contract with them. Of course she didn't care and charged me anyway. It cost me $500 to cancel my contract and get new iPhones with Verizon. It might not have been the cheapest option, but I am satisfied that I will never have to pay AT&T another cent since they failed to pit the customer first. However, if I ran into the CEO of AT&T I wouldn't call him incompetent or say the poor serivce I received was his fault. People in his organization failed and they lost me as a customer as a result.

I could recount customer service failures I've had on WN and also with Apple, but those failure don't define the success or competence of a CEO at a company with tens of thousands of employees. People may hate US Airways for a variety of reasons most of which probably have to do with the culture change the airline had to go through in order for it to survive in a competitive and commodity based marketplace. Those that complain but still fly US despite their are still voting with their dollars to support US. Those that left have many others willing to take their place since the load factors and yields are still strong for this environment.

Doug and the shareholders do care about the customers and not being on these negative surveys, but they still have to make sound business decisions related to bag fees or whatever knowing that it is better to transport people at a profit with fees than to have satisfied customers right up until liquidation. Doug is compensated primarily for making a profit and running a good operation, not for placing first on some satisfaction survey. Only the fool hearty would get those priorities out of order.

You are dead wrong, Doug cares about Doug and all his bounses that's it!! you scare me with statements like that because at times you did make sense on a few things.

The name of that company sounds vaguely familiar to me.
They fly cargo/passengers mostly between ANC/FAI and the outlying settlements - get used to gravel strips, don't just pack long johns but buy electrically heated one if you can find them in the lower 48, and make sure your car has an electric cord hanging out of the grill (and that the other end is connected to the oil/water/battery heaters) and that you've got at least two sets of keys in your pocket any time you leave home. Who knows you might get to fly one of their DC-6's or C46's (though I think they only have 1 C46).

Don't be a dumbass! Fight back. First file a Consumer Fraud case with the AZ Attorney General (i'm assuming you're in AZ) You can do it on line between posts here. That will likely generate a phone call from someone at AT&T that can resolve your issue.

If they stonewall you then you march your assets right down to Small Claims Court and for about $25.00 you can drag their lying cheating asses into court. Do you really think AT&T is going to waste the time and effort to defend themselves? NO they'll settle with you in all likelihood offer you a deal of some kind. If they don't you'll win a summary judgement for the amount you sue for plus costs. This is when it gets fun. Trying to collect and it's actually not that hard to do. All you have to do is find a piece of property that AT&T owns directly and turn the Constable or Sheriff or whomever does this stuff in your state. If you can find a building that has employees you can have the Sheriff padlock the building until the debt is paid. You also have the right to demand CASH (Which I suggest you do as they will stop payment on their check in a case like this). Also be there in person to video tape the event and get it on You Tube. You can absolutely get that money back. Just takes a bit of time and some testosterone.

I cannot remember the number of times I gave the same advice to US customers and everyone of them got handled to their satisfaction It's the only way to deal with US as some of these people had 3 & 5 letters or phone calls where they were denied even though the contract of carriage said they were entitled to compensation. Don't tell me Doug Parker cares about customers as I have the e-mails and evidence he doesn't.
