Elimination of the West only raises costs further. In economic terms, it'll shorten the time to impact. The problem today is not the West revenue, it's the costs which old Airways did not adequately shed in two bankruptcies. Imagine how profitable JBLU would be with their pilots on LOA93.

Charlie Sheen is one funny dude, some reports are that he might have a drug or drinking problem, the dude still got talent, and lots of it.

What is ignorant is the comparison of the EAL labor unions to USAPA.

USAPA wants to extract gains it does not deserve from a company that has invested money in building it up.

The unions of EAL were trying to thwart the further evisceration of their airline by a management team that was actively transferring assets from EAL to CAL in order to break the union.

Those who try to make a comparison obviously know as little about their own union as they do their airline history.
