You have no idea what you are talking about. You even admit that you don't know what the MELs are yet somehow you claim to read my mind and know that I hate the company and believe whatever USAPA says. I have no idea what the company or USAPA says about the MELs. I don't care what they have to say. I have plenty of empirical evidence about MELs.

I fly MELs on most flights. Its about a 50/50 chance whether or not an APU ever works. And those are the little ones.

When you become chief pilot give me a call.

You boys had better learn to take better care of your equipment. You keep breaking your toys you will not have anything to play with. We have the same MX yet I only see about 1 MEL every 5-6-7 airplanes. I have yet to have an MEL'd APU in the last 8-10 months. Maybe it is you guys just don't know what you are doing. You have not been flying the airbus as long the west. With a little more experience you east guys might get it some day.

Oh my gosh, 10 MEL's on a transatlantic, how could one ever fly with ten reading light bulbs out. OH the horror of it all, by the way, next time an APU is broken please tell such an experienced Captain it is fruitless to start it, all you do is run the battery down, common sense to all except USAPA experienced Captains. Remember your union was formed to skirt a binding arbitration decision, tell that to your kids.

The above photos are examples of what is occurring in our operation. The A-330 log book on the left was an attempt to dispatch this aircraft across the North Atlantic with no less than 10 MEL's. The log book on the right shows a box cutter that was recovered in the forward galley by a Flight Attendant during a flight to PHX. When the aircraft was met, Corporate Security blew it off as if this happens every day and seemed unconcerned and attempted to affix the blame on catering rather than a security theat.

Hey I heard usapa has demanded that 17 est pilots and one west pilot be fired because they don't agree with usapa's accounting of dues they owe (btw the scab union always wants more money from mey even though I'm on dues checkoff), the most pilots to be fired in the history of airline unions, you eastholes must be very proud.

Son we can tell you all about the "big bad wolf". We worked for him for a period of time. We ended up with ########## he got millions. Now we have to deal with d/p.
