So the truth comes out. So retire in 5 years making $85 an hour I don't care.

That, sir, demontrates your greed.

If we win LOA93 and you get a $40k/yr raise.....A HUGE BONUS FOR YOU, you still want to cash in your flawed lottery ticket to screw anyone who that you can. Pure greed.

The only greedy one here is you breeze and your failure to honor final and binding.

Hey Move,

I just noticed that you had tried to comment on about a dozen posts in the last couple of days....man, this ignore feature works great...love it.

I see you are trying to improve your average of posting MORE than 23 times per day, hang in there.

Well, just thought I would touch base, hang in there, for what it's worth. NOT!

Why should you get paid now and make the west wait? Why are you entitled?

BECAUSE I WAS HIRED AT LEAST 15 YRS AHEAD OF YOU!!!!!!! To put it on a childish level that you might understand....I was here first!

Wouldn't it be a shame that if we win LOA93......you have to struggle along at AB Cpt rates of $185/hr instead of $145/hr that you now have

A perfect example of why the east is gonna be disappointed much of the time - emotion rather than logic...

Tell me breeze - after 6 years of the company refusing to give the east pay parity because of separate contracts, why do you assume they would just automatically hand the west pay parity if by some strange twist of fate east wins the LOA 93 grievance? Wouldn't there still be separate contracts? Is west pay reduced because of LOA 93 so a win would give west "restoration" too? Cause Parker likes the west pilots so much? Why breeze?

Jim

BS,

I have also heard that.

I have to wonder....if AB Cpt rate goes to $185 and the AB FO rate goes to about $115,.......why can't these West guys get behind this, support it, and leave us alone while most of us to retire in the next 5 yrs or so?

Instead, they want to jump ahead of people with my seniority and keep me in the right seat for my last 5 yrs.

Oh, my bad......I forgot.....they freakin' saved us. It doesn't matter what we think...it's all about them.

breeze

Breeze;
I hope & pray that you guys win. Really. If you win, the West becomes the lesser expensive labor group. I wonder how long it takes LCC to start whip-sawing us against you while he tries to dodge a final & binding arbitration (can you do that??).

Have a great night.

First, it isn't some strange twist of fate. It is a LOA with language everyone is familiar with , but the company and you like to twist to suit them. There is a rate, and a date. The West pay?
Everyone knows they won't. But you have to go on record trying. At least the East tried. The West did nothing but gloat, and it looks very likely LOA 93 pay for the East ended two yrs ago.

True, but if I read the arbitration right, a win would put more money in our paychecks right away, but the remedy for retroactive pay has to be negotiated between USAPA and the company. That could take a long time.

I think you are quite wrong if back pay is included in the award they will have to pay as they did in the USA3000 award Kasher did, we will not negotiate in any way nor do we have to, no talks at all till the retro pay is in our pockets and the new rate is on my pay stub, then we might talk. And I know as much as the west guys don't deserve a penny for the way they have been to us we still need to get them up to our new pay. I'm sure that wont be a popular comment. just my opinion.

Thanks Cactusboy, but you really need to familiarize yourself with a bargaining position in a union and an arbitration between a company and it's labor. I know this concept confounds most of you, but we really don't care. You will soon see how it works. 700uw included in those who don't get it, and BoeingBoy.

Twist? Who is it that used a movie to support a particular definition of "freeze"? Not me. "Arbitrator Kasher, watch this Austin Powers movie and you'll see that we're right."

You're grasping at any straw that floats by, Swan, and the water in the bowl is swirling down the drain. Just leave those fig brown straws alone...

Just a side note in the event of a win someone please keep an eye on Parker so he does not go on another binge, the failed attempt to take over Delta, the failure to put two of the worst little airlines together and the loss of this arbitration might put him over the edge again. http://www.thesmokinggun.com/file/airline-ceo-dui-bust?page=1
