US Pilots Labor Discussion

Damn what a reach. Too pathetic too be funny. You easties are getting sadder by the minute. 🙁

Let me use an analogy that you can understand. The merger pulled US's butt out of the fire, but it allowed AWA's to only have a few singed hairs instead the probable third degree burns, or worse.

When you have nothing you play the grammar card. Take a sabbatical Pi and gather your thoughts.

How about a spelling one?

Calm down. Isn't that what you say? If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen, please!

I put a little smiley in there, geez touchy today. Hit a nerve?

No, not at all. Disappointed mostly. You used to be somewhat of a challenge to spar with and I just don't feel that spark anymore. You need to take me out to dinner to try and relight what we once had.

Is may grammer and spelling more better now?

Added some I see...

Let me use Pieisms: They weren't insolvent a year later were they? What date would AWH have become insolvent?

You can resist the truth, but you can't change it - trying only makes you look foolish. Which is better off - an insolvent company or a solvent company? Which is better off - a company in it's second BK in three years or a company that MAY file for bankruptcy down the road somewhere? Which is better off - a company spending money faster than it comes in or one that's holding it's own?

Jim

Let me use a Jimism: I'm playing their game. Without resorting to your lowlife scumbag method of calling them perverts, accident prone etc., of course.

I've conceded that the future of US looked bleak, absent some unseen event. The thing is, that unseen event happened, we didn't liquidate and off the top of my head I'd have to say that the US side of this "new" company is bigger and Parker says that it is now the more profitable part. So, to answer your questions, it looks like it turned out that with the same thing AWA got, a merger, US was the better component!

No need to thank me.

Much! Keep improving and you may get a whole sentence correct.

I guess denial is not just a river in Egypt, right Pi?

AWA wasn't anywhere near a fire to worry about burns.

Over and over when Parker has said that US would liquidate without the merger, he says AWA would have been in a big bind without the merger, chp 11 probable and a fate similar to Frontier likely. Did you read the 10-K? He said in there, before he needed to "soothe east feelings", many of the same things he does today. It why they did the merger. You guys conveniently leave that part out.

I haven't posted here in years, am now retired, and have no dog in this fight. Life is good and I'm the happiest I have ever been.

I just check back occasionally to see whats happening. It appears that I haven't missed anything. It's still the same old argument of who saved whom, which airline was the nearest death, the settlement was or was not fair, I'm right and you're wrong. Nothing has changed.

To most of us on the outside, all of this is irrelevant. It's a simple matter of one groups refusal to accept a binding arbitration decision, which they had agreed to accept as final and binding, because they did not like the outcome. Any sane being knows that binding arbitration is the last step in a long process where the parties could not reach an agreement on their own. No one has to like the outcome, just accept for what it is, final and binding.

You guys are welcome to continue banging you heads on the walls as usual, while the company continues to enjoy the lowest labor cost in the industry. I'm climbing back into my hole and forgetting about it all. The waters fine and the beers is cold. Life is good!

Check back in 5 years and I think you will find everything the same.

Glad life is good for you. Enjoy!

That was a LONG way off, if ever. The only fact is the east's liquidation. What exactly does "big bind" mean in the financial community? Verge of C-11? C-11? What?

I am not going to quote or read the entire Leonidas screed. The second paragraph clearly states USAPA is being sued by the WEST PILOTS, and the company. Interesting how the west posters and BB state over and over " THERE IS NOBODY ON THE WEST WHO CAN SPEAK FOR WEST PILOTS". Here is the evidence there is. Thank you for admitting it Mover.
