The senior western are seeing the light of the angry junior new hires and their desires to stop the process. The western disciples are missing massive upward movement, and this is the payback for the greed they exhibit. When the new pay rates are established, the anger of the senior western will break the back of the youth western insurgency. It is just a matter of days. This is just the tip of the movement, medical issues will play a larger part. Hundreds of senior eastern pilots will be leaving, creating a massive eastern move up and hiring.
The great thing about PBS is I am not all that senior, but turned another weeks vacation into 17 days off in a row, but alas, I had to return to work this week. 4th vacation this year, and my last week I used in December for the holiday season, but I doubt I can turn that into as much time off, but I digress.
Regarding your "new pay rates".....exactly what rates are you refering?? The LOA93 rates that clearyly show scales for 2011....or in other words 2 full years past when the scab union said they expired??? or do you have some other pay rate in mind like the one Kirby laughed in east faces about in the most recent CLT crewnews session???

Ya, know I never really looked that close to those rates, but the next time you call the West 757 pilots, the lowest paid 757 pilots in the industry, I am going to point out that the West pilot making $2/hr less than their east counterpart gets 31 days vacation, better health insurance, better LTD, better work rules, paid uniform, paid training, paid deadhead etc..etc...etc...

Kirby has a better handle on what a bunch of idiots usapa is than Parker. But, I already knew that, Kirby told me years ago there was no way usapa will deliver a contract. But, that was when Bradford was president, and usapa was just an about to be loser organization. Now, usapa is a full on asylum, and the inmates are actually trying to become inmates!!
Further, Kirby said in plain english, "there is no working relationship with usapa". He goes a bit further and explains why. usapa always "overreaches", is the exact word he used. Gee, no kidding. The east has not only failed to grasp their position since day one, they have always thought they had the leverage. What a complete bunch of morons.

The massive upward movement to which you refer is also laughable, when very much of that movement is already junior to me.. junior. You see, the question becomes, why would I settle for being junior to scabs like yourself, in exchange for "massive upward movement", when I am already senior to to scabs such as yourself, and do not need your upward movement?? Ponder that awhile you complete idiot. Then consider that holds true for about 80% of the West list.
