Once again someone else is to blame for the bad behavior of others? The person who speaks up is the demon, not the troublemakers being stood up to?

This is the problem that has plagued our union for decades. When our MEC ran amok, those who spoke up were ostracized by the mob. When USAPA's leaders are questioned (even by the founders) they are attacked. When a person on this forum has an opposing opinion they are crucified.



Speak for yourself. I'm respectfully sick and tired of people here claiming to speak the voice of others. Knock it off, please.



I seriously doubt the administrators of this site care so much about the feelings of any one person. Kevin Laufer is one of us, remember? Anyone who gets banned probably broke the rules and deserves the consequences.


I disagree. There are pot stirrers on both sides. Some are far worse than others and you and I both know it. I hate to admit it, but the truly bad behavior seems to be coming more from our side these days, just like those that have hijacked our union. Come on. Scabs, drug runners, posting personal information about others, personal attacks. These are professional pilots that you and I fly with. I'm becoming disgusted with what I'm witnessing here and within our union. Pilots turning against pilots. Heck, I bet I'll be the next target for speaking up.

Anyway, just one old man's opinion.

The dumba$$ west MEC and McIlvenna wouldn't get it together

translation - wouldn't bend over and assume the position.

and the East canned ALPA.

A narrow vote playing on emotions that never panned out like you thought it would.

The West MEC didn't listen to ALPA when they pleaded

. Translation - The west knew better than to negotiate against themselves.

The West is responsible for USAPA and we thank them

Here, I actually agree to a large extent. A full on press like our lives depended on it would have been more effective and far less costly than the litigation we've been through. Leonidas proves that mistake will not be made twice

USAPA fears the vote of the east pilots so much that they will deny them (and us) until they are forced to allow it or forced out. You don't know how your fellow pilots will vote. Even when passions were high post NIC, the vote for USAPA passed by a razor thin margin.

ALPA lost because of the same "in-the-bag" assumption that you are demonstrating. Had they assessed their real jeopardy, they would have given it an all hands on deck effort, USAPA would have been defeated and Prater would have consolidated both MECs and signed the joint contract.

The recalled would still be recalled, the upgrades would still have upgraded and everyone would be earning considerably more money by now.

But the east prefers to cling to a moldy and bacteria-ridden security blanket called USAPA that never has, nor ever will, provide security.

Your looking at your side of the blanket, mine is pretty nice.

I my self will punch out in the Summer of 2023 (1958). You see we all aren't nearly as young as you think we are. BTW, it's the starting off conversations with "boy" that side tracks our little conversations into what they are.

We will continue our vigil awaiting for justice from the courts. Logically and ultimately the only seniority list will be the Nicolau. I would bet another prune latte that the rumor of splitting up operations & the LOA win for the East are just exactly that....RUMORS.

Or maybe an educated guess. Any idiot can figure out that a guy who posts garbage like apollo day in and day out, dozens of times per day, who suddenly disappears for days, practically mid-rant, probably got squashed. Leave it to you to come up with some conspiracy.
