US Pilots Labor Discussion

Your sense of entitlement makes you sound like someone right out of the welfare office. Nobody deserves anything more than they bring to the table.

Do they even deserve what they bring along? Isn't this nation built upon the concept of rising on one's merit? Not their ability to repeat the same task over and over for 25 years?

BS 9-piece. They're done out east. The majority wants a new contract and they know the Nic comes with it.

Time to catch up, move on, or quit.

Sorry Boo Boo, you are wrong and overconfident to surmise what the Majority WANT from the post on this board.
It's obvious the West bravado is in high gear from the overwhelming west vs east post. Just another felt " up or down " in this saga, nothing more. The Nic has zero chance of passing anytime soon IMHO. Take note boo boo, I don't need to post as if I KNOW all, hence IMHO.

Actually Phoenix, no you can't #### me. Maybe you should take that issue up with your boyfriend.

ALPA merger policy was written so it could be interpreted eight different ways from Sunday. Unless Nicolau engaged in fraud, his award is perfectly legal.

Stop drinking Jihadist flavored Kool Aid.

Sacrificer,

I'm just going off facts. Look at the turn that's been taken on these boards. You have easties arguing with other easties. I guarantee that Parker can buy a contract with the Nic in it.

The BPR is split 6/5 with PHX on the majority side.

Much has changed and having your head buried in your own backside doesn't change those facts.

I think it's not going to become a matter of if the east wants a contract with the NIC in it, but does the west want a contract negotiated by the current NAC, even with the NIC in it. I agree the tides are changing, the Cleary clan is losing the majority vote with the help of the west as swing votes. Until we get some west pilots on the NAC though that can prevent these retards from giving away the good stuff, well...... More and more west pilots are coming to realize it's best to let the east sit under LOA 93. It's unfortunate that their contract sucks, but many of them feel their attrition on the east will compensate for that. That's fine, let the east drag their feet some more and keep us separate until we can get more intelligent people in the union, so we can get a decent contract.

Really F/O Windfall? How many A330s and 767s did you bring to the table?

There are no negotiations with the NMB and the Company in USAPA's schedule.

Two points: There are 5 pilots, Paul DiOrio, Jeff Davis, Dean Collelo, Pay Day, and Manny Lopez are receiving 95 hours FPL, stipends with no work schedule to provide us a new contract. What a gig for a union with a $2 million FY deficit.

I bet Cleary already knows the NMB parked negotiations and they're not telling us because of the Preliminary Injunction decision, DJ Scheduling Conference result, and LOA 93 announcement. With elections upcoming Cleary is now all about damage control because his supporters are depressed. If negotiations are parked by the NMB and USAPA loses the DJ Summary Judgment as expected, there will be a nail in Cleary's coffin. He will have to commute to a junior reserve Airbus Captain position without 95 hours FPL, stipends, no longer have a great schedule, and all of his other union perks.

None. Nor did we bring a third of our seniority list from the street thinking that they would/should replace active pilots.

Wrong again. They didn't think they should replace them, just when it was time to be recalled, recall then move up in an equitable manner. I recently flew with one that agrees with me that neither the Nic or DOH as currently envisioned by USAPA does that.

Why did the CLT Reps Mislead the Pilots on the LOA 93 grievance decision?: December 12, 2011

Dear Subscriber,

Update for December 12, 2011

Quick Fact #210: Why did the CLT Domicile Reps mislead the pilots by telling them one week after USAPA received the LOA 93 grievance decision that "we wish to start by unequivocally stating that at the tme of writing we have not received either a decision or any form of indication as to how the Arbitrator will rule in this case?"

One of your guesses is as good/bad as any other. The day before the LOA 93 decision became public Cleary said that there is a good chance we will be parked. There is nothing going on and won't be and with an election year no one will be released.

Has your membership been approved?

None. Nor did we bring a third of our seniority list from the street thinking that they would/should replace active pilots.

That's one thing I just can't figure out. When have furloughed pilots EVER been placed above active pilots? I can understand the anger about where some of the east pilots were placed on the NIC. Furloughed pilots? Really? ........ Really?

Taking a position like that just makes the east lose all credibility, because you know it's an all out seniority grab.

Another unbaised fact that is a question!

"Why did the CLT Domicile Reps mislead the pilots by telling them one week after USAPA received
the LOA 93 grievance decision that “we wish to start by unequivocally stating that at the time of
writing we have not received either a decision or any form of indication as to how the Arbitrator will
rule in this case?”

Could it be that Tracy didn't tell the reps? Do you know for a FACT that she did? If not, there was no lie.
