I think that you may have inadvertantly summed up in a single statement, the core philosophical difference between the east and west position, and possibly in a larger sense one's world view. Some people do NOT subscribe to the theory of: they are "just words that matter not!" and some do. I believe that the relationship between a man's word and his actions are the sum of his character. Can we call you "honest father abe" or not? (no reply necessary, that question is rhetorical)

Good post! Actually stopped and thought before replying.
I like your philosophy , assumptions not so sure of. Would be a good conversation over a few beers. However I think these type chats result in little if any ( sans venting ) valid communication. Am an optimist and therefore believe both sides of this Nic believe in their righteous position and therefor relay honesty. When I claim " words matter not " I am referring their effect on Nic outcome and persuading opposite view to change position. I think they ( words ) mostly reflect feelings and therefore irrelevant .
These post full of slander and insults are girly and childish ! Do you agree?
