I love posts like this one, shows the anger from the "Angry FO" club so well. One day soon we will be working together, you haven't reached the acceptance stage yet but you will be there sooner than you think. You guys voted in Loa93 without so much of a hiccup so voting overwhelmingly to get a new contract with the seniority list Bob Siegel and co recognize will be no problem. You guys are the biggest liars to yourselves :lol:

He was the one predicting the "done deal" with UAL many years ago. Many of our brethren were foolish enough to follow his rantings and lost huge amounts of $$$ speculating on the now defunct UAL/US marriage.

Nothing should surprise you around here and nothing should be taken at face value, including the court system. Wether you recognize it or not; you work for organized crime and as long as you continue to look at USAPA as the source, you continue to be sidetracked, misled, and wasting time and money. USAir makes Enron look like amateurs and Arthur Anderson has nothing over this accounting dept.

We thought the crime figures hit a lowpoint with Bugsy Seigel but DUI Doug and his sidekick Scotch, under the guidance of Jerry the Gerbil have shown that there is no rock too low for these scum not to crawl out from underneath.

So continue to keep focused on the union and let the real thieves run amok.

You are working under a contract negotiated by your representatives (and now affirmed by an arbitrator to continue until you negotiate a new contract - just like your CEO told you a dozen times).

I will agree on one point: USAPA didn't get us here initially. The AAA MEC got the party started by pulling out of the JNC talks. Bradford picked up that ball and ran with it. USAPA has failed virtually every legal battle. Making us share the bill to help you evade an arbitration and to persecute the Cactus 18 is a new low achievement for any human being.

Well as a West pilot I know for a fact the company is stealing from me and cheating me.

We have an extra-contractual ACARS logic change, change iin health insurance, seniority violations as per the TA (this particular one does not effect me), a min block hour grievence that has not been paid, a training pay fiasco, etc. etc.etc.

Anybody checked the West fleet since the 737s are all gone? Would not surprise me on iota to find that West is below min fleet.

Further, the collusion between the company and usapa that pretty much guarantees that a West grievence would never be heard is borderline criminal. The company is also enabling usapa to steal dues/fees money from West pilots who are not represented, and they colluded in the training pay grievence to directly assault West pay.

usapa is a scab organization, founded to steal from a rather large percentage of the class it represents.

All true. The company is pulling anything they can with the west, because they know that USAPA is the un-union. I was only commenting on V's revisionist history of how the new US Airways is screwing them because they still work under LOA93 with no end in sight.

BTW, the company is keeping what B737 airframes on "property" until all the A321's (that make just the fleet minimum) arrive. The remaining Airbus' should be here within this month.

The dues issue is unfortunately one that is a legal quagmire: USAPA is legally entitled to the dues under the law. The company under penalty of law must fire anyone USAPA says is not paying dues to the "union". By bare technical definition we are represented. These conditions will not change until enough East pilots are fed up the USAPA and its antics. There is a National Officer election coming up. We'll see who runs, and we will see what happens.

My request: If you are not a member in good standing, please do what ever you need to now so that you can vote and participate.

Move, it's not the East pilot population as a whole causing all this mayhem. It's a small percentage, maybe 10% at the most. That small subgroup manifests every characteristic of psychopathy. They care of no one but themselves, which is precisely why they are content to hold the rest of us hostage, East and West. It's why I take them at face value when they say they'll sit on LOA93 indefinitely. I believe that they actually mean what they say when they rejoice in others' miseries whether we're talking about West furloughs or vilifying East pilots who just want to move on and get a pay raise (pink panties award).That's the bad news. The good news is that they are grossly outnumbered. Psychopaths like Stalin, Pol Pot and Hitler must have absolute control of their populations to survive. Fortunately, we have the means to deny absolute control to the psychopaths who have wrought so much harm on East and West pilots. That's why every Airways pilot must be a MIGS and must vote.

OK, then you agree that USAPA can't simply delay presenting a contract to vote on so that a few more east pilots can get the upgrades, etc. that Nicolau felt they were not entitled to. USAPA cannot have DOH as a foundation of their constitution as it substantially biases the benefits of the union in the favor of one side at the expense of the other. They can back away from DOH, honor the arbitration and serve all the pilots, or it must go away.
