Senior
Trader is seniority #1759 out of roughly 3400. The pilots that are junior to him are Captains (A320, 737, E190) and Widebody F/Os (767 and A330). What is so hard to comprehend about that?
That's quite a feat for 1600 losers. Now you know why Franke hired the outcast, the marginal, the subpar and managed their expectations masterfully. He used them masterfully, now even the giant legacy AMR has been brought to earth by the legions of Franke.
Why are these folks referencing the seniority in relative terms? I thought seniority was based on a date. At least that's what USAPA thinks. The junior (Airbus, 737) captain is just over 2300 out of 3400.
That's where it really hurts. The widebody F/O's that make a fraction of the going widebody rate certainly limits the topic of conversation with other crews on those glamorous international overnights. But I bet they get more than their fair share of pity beers. You are going to have to explain this statement. The only people making more would be on the 767 or 330. Are you admitting that 1999 hires are junior to AWA pilots. That would be the Nicolau. Reality finally sinking in.
There are only 435 WB F/O's. Are you saying the some WB captains are junior to west captains?
Make your case dude.
You telling us that pilots will bid for QOL and not jump at the highest paying position or upgrade at the first opportunity????? I am shocked.Trader is seniority #1759 out of roughly 3400. That is not what you guys have been screaming for years now is it? You guys are saying that west guys will come flooding east for all of those "good" jobs. Choosing to commute just for the money.
Theory kind of falling apart.
It's fascinating that Barrister, who has said that there's no need for insults, can't seem to make a post without insults...![]()
I suspect some frustration that the dream of DOH and industry standard contract seems to have turned into a nightmare is to blame.

Oddly, the same west fo flying the same amount of days has a total compensation of 20% more, I know that's chomp change for you clowns. OH yeah and about 10 more days vacation, again I understand that is not important to you braniacs as you count reserve days as "off" days if u don't get used.Oddly....as a 757 first officer......East pilots are not the lowest paid.......that would be those West boys and girls flying to Hawaii.
