US Pilots Labor Discussion

Thanks Jake, maybe they will listen to you. One thing though, Marshal was the rep, he wasn't fired. I believe he had returned to the line, but think you may see him in there again.
I hope so.

I meant we lost them as CPs.

The CPs were not pro USAPA IMO.

I believe one of them was the ALPA CLT Captain's Rep and is not a MIGS.

A few years ago, a CLT CP threatened a West pilot who was in the process of denying an east pilot a jumpseat.

His threat was that if this captain denied this jumpseat, that the company would seek action against his medical certificate.

Now, it is my opinon that this CP should have been put in the unemployment line he dodged in 2005, but he was lucky the West captain he threatened had a much cooler head than many.

In any event, if he was one of the recently removed CPs, all I can say is this is about three years overdue.

I accept your opinion that the CLT CPs were not pro usapa, however, if Move2's story about them telling Isom to give the east pay parity is correct, from the company's perspective, these CPs were supportive of an illegal slowdown if not downright helping to enable it.

Do you know something we don't nic? I thought the American merger was just a rumor! ;-)

ooopps..typo, went back and fixed it...thanks.

But speaking of rumors, any rumors regarding the 190s circulating over there?

With that statement would you agree with me that Otter is wrong and the CLT CPs were not pro-USAPA?

Pro east cp's or pro east vp's. Seems your trying to protect the legacy of the 3 that were fired from the cp position in clt.

Question to you Brat? Why hasn't any east pilot been fired for past practices of a known illegal slowdown of very recent memory?

The company stated in front of Judge Conrad the multi-millions of dollars cost to lcc by the east usapa illegal/safety campaign slow down. Now usapa agrees to make this a permanant injunction against usapa and all pilots of lcc and Judge Conrad agreed. Add in the east fuel school from years ago/non-compliance with company policies, of which my sources tell me this mostly east, continues to this day.

Like I stated before...The company knows what we're doing. How they selectively discipline pilots is my continue beef with my union/company.

Why is it whenever I ask an east poster on one of these boards if they were active or furloughed at the time of the merger, all I get is crickets? I guess since I never get a response I'll just make my own:

If you were junior on the east list and never furloughed, I'm sorry about what happened. Where you were placed on the list was not fair in my opinion. I don't think I should have been placed above you and if I could change it I seriously would.

If you were furloughed and think you should have gone ahead of active pilots. What you are doing is lower than low and is nothing less than stealing seniority. I hope you get what you deserve.

Nobody fell back to anything about the stats, but you. You earned them every squirrley post after another. And you should be proud of that .71 per hr. You earned it. One might wonder that if you maybe slept 8hrs a night, that would give you 16 hrs to earn your honors, and that would bump you up to a very impressive count over one an hr. Hats off to the king of squirrels, over one an hr, and that is even flying for Franke Air in the meantime. Do you partake in Bongo Wireless Acccess whilst airborne western? Those are particularly alarming numbers you are hitting in your support of Franke Air! We all knew what Franke looked for in his castoffs, and you must have particularly put a gleam in his eye! Bravo!

Dont know if you were smoking before you posted but if so it must have been some good stuff (I quit recreational use with maryjane about 20 years ago when I got in the industry) and if so then it seems like some hallucinogens may have been put in your stash, the post sounds like a crazy Adam Sandler character that is wasted beyond belief, you crazy NUT you!

You weren't drinking while you were riding your bike were you? That was hard to follow. I'll give it a shot.

I don't know that they haven't terminated anyone for illegal actions. I know they were looking to get a westie for always overflying their block. The last east bid had something like 5 terminations on it. But, maybe they don't have the evidence to back up the data they used, on individual pilots. Why do you think two east pilots were fired for DL while about a hundred didn't finish it on time, including a west pilot?

Maybe your sources are wrong?

Were you asking everyone? If so, no, I wasn't furloughed.

I disagree with your premise of furloughed pilots. It doesn't matter as I wasn't tasked with making the list, but I think their years of service should count for something. There has been at least one other merger where furloughed pilots went ahead of active, and 17 year is a lot to count for nothing. But, you are entitled to you opinion.

Hard to follow you as always brat....

So Brat you're agreeing with the company/Federal Courts and usapa that east pilots were in a illegal slow down. Yes or No?

If yes, this known illegal slow down cost the company multi-millions and no one was fired?

It's not a yes or no question. I always said there were probably guys that were doing things, but that I though the company was exaggerating the impact and that the impact starting in May was NOT all pilot related. I was not participating and it was the worst I'd seen CLT operating in years.

Answer your own question. Do you really think that Parker would have allowed a group of pilots to cost the company MILLIONS and not do something about individuals they knew about?

Yawn.
