If the east pilots had not demanded DOH/LOS we might have come to a deal. If the east had not demanded furloughed pilots be placed senior to active west pilots we might have come to a deal. But the east MC was not allowed to come off that position.

So we went to arbitration and we have the nicolau.

All of you east pilots need to read this preamble carefully. It answers most of your arguments.


It was not ALPA national's fault it was your own MC. It is not ALPA nationals responsibility to set your strategy it was your MC.



You may not think it is fair but we hired someone to determine what was fair. Nicolau did that.

Long time lurker, seldom poster, but a few things brought me out of the wood work.
CHAOS- not an issue now, as it would be illegal action and usappy would not be able to to call anyone a scab for crossing their "line".
Looks to me the line is fading a bit for getting something done. Elections time is coming, a lot is at stake. More of the same or movement in the only real direction, everyone has a choice to make in their own private vote.

Stop whining. Please constantly changing policy. DOH was removed in 1991. We did our arbitration in 2007. The story says:

In May 2009, after 18 months of work,

Two years after our arbitration and 18 months of study I would not consider constantly changing.

usapa was in business less than 2 years and changed the C&BL. Is usapa constantly changing their rules?

Get behind people that will make something out of this and can start some cooperation between East and West. For the WEST I agree, because you don't have it, besides DUI asked for relief from it during the UAL negotiations, Keep following that NAUGHLER 3 weeks we'll see if the court gets a reservation! MM! Grievances sometimes are a zero sum event in the abscence of REAL CONTRACTUAL LANGUAGE!
