US Pilots Labor Discussion

In my casual and sarcastic viewing/posting on this thread I keep hearing the phrase "Career Expectations" Having read a great deal of the Nic Award and legal documents our of curiosity I keep coming back to the question, What "Career Expectations" are we talking about?

Before the merger the Career Expectations at US and HP were soon to be the Unemployment line as both were doomed, it was only a question of when not if. Based on this it seems as if the arbitrator failed to take the prior career expectations that on a scale of 1 to 100 were zero without a merger into consideration. Also I keep hearing Date of Hire. Technically your DOH was the day the merger closed so in essence everyone has the same hire date.

In my view the predecessor companies offered no career expectations beyond liquidation. The merged company began operation IIRC on 9/27/2005 which would have been everyone's hire date.

Then you better get payroll to roll back the money they pay to 2005. Franke must be loving you. Right out of his playbook!

So each MDA pilot personally told you that they knew they were not mainline? What lie? USAir finally admitted that they were in fact part of mainline.

There was never a rift between mainline and the MDA pilots, they had our full support and still do.....they have always been our mainline brothers and sisters.

That's just the facts Jack! Sorry to burst the bubble which is only your opinion, which is way off target, seeing that you were never there and never involved with any of that history.

Gawd, another freakin expert with no clue! This kind of crap gets old.

Exactly Breeze. The western kooks make up stories to suit their seniority thievery on the fly. It is a skill they learned from the Mesa crew schedulers and Franke himself.

It is one more flawed western scheme to steal seniority. Notice the lack of Ferguson endorsements? They are secretly voting Hummel because they know Ferguson can't get the needed votes. They know Hummel is working with the western division.
Up the meds. What is it with you guys? Are you not happy unless there's a new boogey man or group,of conspirators lining up against you? You guys are nuts. No wonder yor careers are complete failures...you guys couldnt manage a 7-11 let alone a rewarding pilot career. You absolutely deserve every bit of the misery that plagues you.

Misery? Compared to accepting the NIC?

At this point, the NIC leaves many in the right for the rest of their careers, being screwed by a bunch on entitlement punks. However, left seat in the A320, along with PBGC is close to $155/hr.

Which would you choose? Give in, lose seniority, and pray for a new industry standard contract, which the theives in Tempe will never allow, or continue the fight?

The fight is for what is right in the first place, not about the money and screwing the West pilots. It's about protecting our careers, and we will see it through.

Mathematically, if you survived unmerged with your own seniority list, many would have stayed in the right seat anyway.

And why has USAPA taken this route?

1- The NIC was flawed from the beginning, ask any MDA pilot.

2- It DOES NOT abide by ALPA merger policy...no windfall for either group.

Thus, USAPA was born.

1. The Nic wasn't flawed - ask any west pilot and the company.

2. It abides by ALPA policy perfectly. That's why it was submitted to the company and the company accepted it.

USAPA was born and what an abortion it's been since.

Now Move,

Sorry but that is probably the dumbest post I have seen you make, considering our attrition, which you greedy bastards want.

Explain the western lemming following of the 2005 lawyer pilot in his quest of seniority theft. Is that not your Fuhrer leading you into his mad quest? Reminds one of the followers of Warren Jeffs. Fortunately USAPA stopped you cold.

Now breeze,

If you'd get your head out of your backside and actually look stuff up, you'd see I was correct. Your own MEC put that report together.

Why do you think your side didn't want to fence of PHX? Because it would have prevented many of your pilots from seeing the left seat via PHX seats.

You don't upgrade when FOs retire.

And I wish I could say your post was the dumbest, but you've put up some doozies.

Not abortion. Aborted, as in aborted the Nic. Exactly what you say it was formed to do. Now you say it is bad because it did what you said it was for. Make up your mind. Admit it. It is a beautiful thing.

Wow Claxon, you seem a bit more psychotic tonight. Is it that full moon?

Did you miss a dose?

Oh, and Parker has the Nic. The list USAPA passed to the company was rejected and pushed back across the table.

What is it Kohler? You said USAPA was formed to stop the Nic and then you criticize it. It did exactly the advertised. Are you one of those people who take their car in for repairs because it starts and runs fine and then complains?
