US Pilots Labor Discussion

You haven't been right for a few months now.

Look boo boo, you guys care only about the upgrade. That's what this is all about. And the only way to get all the easties back into the right seat was via PHX and DOH.

It didn't happen. You're pissed. Get over it. I know you still have issues, but don't let that cloud your judgement.

I have to admit that you got ONE thing right on your post.

We are pissed!

Don't tell me what to do boo boo. You're in no position to do so.

And my comment had zero to do with your sisters death. I don't know why you keep bringing that up. It was merely a reference to your LOA93 loss.

And if by "burn me" you mean run and tell the mods, then go for it big man. Always the tough guy until his feelings get hurt and then he runs and tell. Oh, you dropped your pacifier.

I understand how miserable you are. Commuting out of DEN to a crap schedule and working under LOA 93 can make you nuts. You should probably leave these boards for good. Your skin is pretty damn thin.

And please, save your crying for somewhere else.

That's weak.

What the west thinks - YAWN

What the company thinks - YAWN

So mr pissed off breeze, what are you going to do. Give the company another great month of stats?

Nice work boo boo! Your "pissed" has just gotten me more in my profit sharing check.

I already said you can tell me anything and if I am wrong I will freely and openly admit it. I've gotten things wrong in my responses before and have done just that. I even took your previous criticism to heart when you said that I often state things as fact when it is just my opinion. Since then I will try (not always succeeding) to place a IMO or something in the post when there may be confusion as to when I cam stating a verifiable fact and when it is my opinion or best-guess. So, you have told me things and I have in fact responded with a change in behavior.

And on that note, IMO you are mixing apples and oranges again on the five-year post NIC analysis. Unless I am making an improper assumption, you are taking a person today and comparing them to stand-alone current status versus his position if the NIC were implemented. Of course his current position is in no small way affected by what has transpired at the airline post-merger. So pre-merger NIC slotting is apples and post-merger separate ops is oranges. Where would US be stand-alone in 2012 absent the merger? No one knows. Where would AWA be stand-alone absent the 2005 merger? Again no one knows. What we do know is where people are on the list as of the integration date and that is what Nicolau used to make his award. The effects of the merger cannot be ignored or compensated for (IMO) so your current year analysis is far more flawed than the award, IMO.

IMO, there ya go, good job.

As for the rest, read my response to clear. Why did 517 east pilots get the top slots under your theories.

It really doesn't matter, does it?

So how would you have merged them? DOB on the date of the merger?

Honestly I'm not sure how you'd do that. Maybe years of experience. Type Ratings, that kind of stuff. You could use Length of service with the predecessor carriers but that would likely open the same can of worms as now.

As I type I'm liking the idea of industry experience. Say I flew oh 10 years with Air Canada and for whatever reason I took a job with HP or US. You simply count that ten years in as experience. You could use flight hours as well. Pretty cut and dry then and I believe verifiable.

Now you're trying to antagonize.

Yeah, I hope you enjoy the profit sharing drop in the bucket, as will I.

I am pissed that you guys want to screw your fellow pilots, we are all in this game together, whether we like it or not.

However, I will not suffer from heartburn everyday while I draw $155/yr for my final career years while standing up for what is right.

I am sure that your adolescent mind can't get a handle on that now, but give it another 20 yrs, when you hit 50 yrs old, and you will finally figure it out.

The west won't like you now. Or Boeing Boy. ;-)

Antogonize!?! No, I was serious when I wrote "YAWN". You guys are, and have been all bark and no bite. Look and your pensions and LOA 93. You gave that stuff away. You guys are the only pilot group that's negotiated away more than the company has asked.

And I'm pissed at the lack of integrity you guys show to your fellow pilots. We are in this together yet you sue your own pilots with frivolous RICO litigation and you attempt to fire them.

Look how Tracey handled our DL overpay - she gave the company he grievance!

I'm not suffering at all. I'm making Captains pay under a decent contract. Ive got a great schedule and I work with pilots who were able to ice the majority's attempt at an illegal DOH cramdown.

I'm sure your withered mind can't out it together, but that's what we've done. We've forced you easties to live up to your end of the bargain.

DOH is dead. Move forward so you don't have to retire under LOA 93.

Well then, what is the problem? I am happy with the way things are going for my last 5 yrs and you are happy with your world.....why are we fighting over this?

I will just cruise along as is......good luck to you.

Seriously boo boo? Number of type ratings? Logbook time?

Even you can't be that big of an idiot.

Or can you?

That all relates to experience and has nothing to do with slotting....ya know, time invested.....DOH stuff. There is no theft involved in that line of thought.

Thx Sparrow, good point.
