US Pilots Labor Discussion

Pi, do you want the link to those videos?

You can see first hand the smug, "we're in charge now" attitude the idiot founders had when they came to PHX.

It was DOH and it was good for us, at least according to them.

And no fences. Imagine that.

Oh well, you made your beds....

No thanks, I saw them. The reception the legally elected reps of our legally elected union got was very eye opening. Don't really care to view it again.

Things can be done without altering the Nicolau. Most of this seems to be focused on the lower end of the scale. I guess you guys want some special deal for them. We know the company is not going to add more money to make them feel better.

How about this? The WB guys give up their premium, get paid the same as a NW and give the money to the lower end of the scale. This solves a couple problems. Takes that incentive away so us west guys don't come take "your" WB seats. The senior east guys get to help out the junior east guys.

Does that work for anyone?

We would have to look at everything if we are going to look at any, right?

Riddle me this, why would any west pilot go out of their way once the NIC is fully and finally affirmed as the only valid list to help out the east pilots who have thumbed their noses at the west with their majority rules attitude for seven years? The east has cost the west pilots a great deal of money and have tried to bury them in the dunghill simply because they have asked that the results of binding arbitration be honored per the agreement? It's all take and no give with the east even when they lose the battle. Having suffered but a mere flesh wound (i.e severed arms and legs), the east says, alright, we'll call it a draw.

Oh, let me think. Something that may have been taught in seminary. What is it? What is it? Oh yeah, to turn the other cheek. To learn from the mistakes the east has made, not continue them and keep us perpetually divided? Could that be it?

You don't like having the logic used on you, do you? "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall." Reverend.

I can see how this guy would make the mistake of calling the hotline from his own phone. Embarrassing.

Oh, maybe it is Auxier who used his own phone? I thought he was on the 18 because of web post suggesting making calls. I know longer have a copy of the original usapa RICO filing, but as I remember it there were like three who had their phone numbers listed as making calls, (one of which only made a total of 6 or 8 call total in a five day period), and I do not think Auxier was one of them.

"Upon information and belief, defendant Auxier made 45 telephone calls, for a total of 160 minutes, to the USAPA toll-free telephone number from telephone number (XXX) XXX-XXXX. Auxier made 33 of the 45 calls between May 1 and May 7, 2008.
58. Defendant Auxier’s postings on the AWAPPA Web Board end with the message, “Have you called XXX-XXX-XXXx 25 times today???”

But the case was dropped of course.

Because many of your brothers don't. They call it the illegally elected union, and as you say it wasn't.
I don't think anyone here said they were illegally elected because that wasn't the case.

Though USAPA did make it on property by the slimmest of margins (and I mean squeaked), they did get the majority (barely) vote.

As for the actions of said union - whole different ball game.

The video was shot in March 2008. BEFORE the election. So these boys were not elected to anything legal or otherwise.

usapa was nothing but a wet spot in the back of a van at that time.

I knew Auxier was posting on the AWAPPA board promoting the behavior, but,,,,as is the nature of web post, you can't always tell what is a joke and such.

I do stand corrected though, I did not think he was named for actually making calls just talking about it on the board, and you have proven me wrong, he was named for both.

Oh, I edited the numbers out of the quote, and suggest you do the same in the original post. Would not want you named in a RICO complaint if usapa started getting a couple thousand calls a day on their hotline. Oh, and the owners of the board would get named too for facilitating, the way the AWAPPA founders were named.
