Then call them what you think they are and save the scab crap. You guys must really not care about scabs to use that term so loosely. There are two terms recklessly thrown around on this board that get to me and they are scab and child molester.

Too friggin' bad. A line crossing scab is an opportunistic pos that attempts to exploit a weakness in a workgroup to gain a position of employment he otherwise wouldn't deserve or earn. USAPA voters did EXACTLY the same thing when they systematically organized an opportunity to squash the West, strip us of our independent representation and tried to cram down a DOH list to the sole benefit of every EAST pilot and the sole detriment to every WEST pilot.

Couple that with the laundry lost of other illegal acts foisted upon us all the while being extorted for cash. This describes a scab perfectly.

I think the Hard core Usapian is a brand of low life scum that on his best day couldn't rise high enough to kiss Frank Lorenzo's ass....the worst form of scab there ever was. Look at your leadership. Look at all the lies and treachery. The scandals,lawsuits,thefts, back stabbing conspiracies, threats, and assaults. This is what you created. You decided to pay over a Billion dollars for this...I digress,

I know they have a plan and I imagine that I have taken more time to listen and really think about it than 9 out of 10 east pilots. I think I do get it, and I think it will replace Cleary and Co's war of attrition with another one. It's what is missing that bothers me.

First thing first. The distraction of getting something other than the Nic must be done away with. Then, and only then, can we move toward a new contract.

They fact that Eric and Jeff aren't making stupid USAPA-like promises should show you they respect the challenge. And Cleary/McKee didn't leave too much to work with other than an injunction.

With the third-listers voting with our bloc and part of the east that doesn't get their guy in, we have a good chance in the runoff.

That's the only way to move ahead.

Using the NIC the east who had a job at the time of the merger will get 2/3 of the upgrade opportunities and all currently active east will get 4/5 or 9/10 dollars negotiated in wage improvements but I guess that's still not good enough. I presume what is missing is more improvements for the east and of course those improvements will need to come by way of the west giving up even more, right?

That bet is not as sure as it once was. The third listers know the situation should we merge with AA using USAPAs integration method. And yes, I most assuredly speak with third listers. Come over to the cactus pilot forum and ask those that are active there.

Should a TA with Nic be put out, I wouldn't guarantee a defeat if I were you.

Prove it. Elect the West guys and you'll have a decent, NIC Inclusive, contract to vote on in fairly short order. It's not going to be Industry leading....I don't know why they're saying that but it will be a damn sight better than what you've been on the last 8 or so years. THEN you can all show us just how powerfully unified you are on staying on LOA 93 to avoid the Nic by voting "NO".

If you elect McKee or Hummel we will never know will we? If the west are the officers at least we will have functional and rational leadership. Even without a contract we can move forward. Get some respect back to the union that the current president as completely destroyed.

No, and interesting you frame this as an east vs west thing. Simply reinforces the idea that you are management, your ridiculous attempts to defend the philanderer Kirby by threatening lawsuit is simply the way a morally bankrupt company manages employees. Like an SS group, but, believe me, you will never have the self-discipline to come close.

Using fear, uncertainty and doubt, management has captured much of the revenue stream from labor. Time to reverse that trend. I refuse the size of the pie management has proffered and demand a larger share of the revenue stream. If labor works real hard, in a few years we will see a return to normalcy, in the process taking away bragging rights from the fools and morons who run this "winged theft" known as tempe.
