What a joke. Saying EF mission in life is not to destroy USAPA,,, The vile he loves is spewed on here every day by his minions.
Of course he wants to destroy USAPA, what I hate about the west is they can't look you in the eye and say they are trying to screw you and take your senority. They have to make themselves believe the nic is fair.

EF has said that he wants to implement the arbitration. Will that destroy usapa? Is that the sole or only purpose of usapa? To steal seniority and use your majority to get DOH?

Go back and read the Addington transcript about pretext

Take a look around and objectively see what your east leadership has done to usapa. They have done so much to destroy usapa. PHL had to correct the update because it violates the law. The IBT wants nothing to do with usapa. Was the EF or Mike Cleary? Management is laughing at usapa. Who caused that to happen?

No your east leaders are destroying usapa all on your own. EF just wants what we agreed to.

Maybe we should call Obama and tell him he should do a press release about the voting public using the above as a template for a successful campaign. Should be a sure fire way of getting him to lose the next election.

I would say having a TA to even vote on is a vast improvement from where you are today. You all drone on and on about never ratifying a contract. Well, talk is cheap isn't it? Time to prove it. I believe if Ferguson is elected, and Silver goes the way she's expected to, you'll have your chance to vote NO inside of 6 months. If McKee/EndofAlpa get voted in I can guarantee no TA for their entire term of 3 years. Just life under LOA93 and the Permanent Injunction the bobbleheaded nutjobs delivered to the company of a silver platter.

You know as well as I do we had serious maint. problems last summer. But I agree with you that the effort to fix those maint. problems were perverted into something else by a small percentage of people. Eric however has some blame in us being under an injunction as well. His anti east campaign helped to create the big difference between east and west in performance.

On the plus side though I have not had to tell the company to go stick an airplane where the sun does not shine in the last few months due to crap not getting fixed. I do however have concerns about this upcoming summer ops. I do not look forward to seeing flight control issues or major component issues being swept under the proverbial MEL rug again like we had last summer. I hope the company has learned the lesson on that.

If fergason does get elected i predict a string of voted down T/A's, but time will tell on that one. Will be an interesting year.

You "think?" Why hasn't Hummel spelled out how he'll deal with a pro-Nic ruling? Where are your attacks on him for not being specific? "Deal with it effectively?" Where are those details you discredit west candidates for not providing? Why aren't you raking Hummel over the coals for not providing them?

You're as transparent as glass. As long as a candidate is in favor of DOH, your preferred solution, the details don't matter. But let a candidate say they'll implement the Nic and you want...demand to know every detail about how they'll do everything.

(deleted)Here's the deal. I'm not running for office, so I don't have to spell out WHAT the candidates are going to do and on very specific items it is not my place to do that. I may get the details wrong. What I am giving is my OPINION of what the candidates have told me. And that is where I believe you and I are different. I have spent hours and hours dealing with almost every candidate. Emails and phone calls. Ferguson has not responded, but I believe it is because he is in training, but I talked to Holmes and Koontz and during this election wasn't the first time. Have you? What has been your personal experience with the candidates? What stake does Jim have in this election? I will be awaiting your answers.

I don't think the west pilots are my enemies. I have many guys over there that I consider friends. I actually enjoyed talking to Ken and Jeff, and agree with them on many issues. I just think that they are one the wrong track for solving this, at least from what they shared with. What I did realize is that what they shared with me may be muted for political reasons, but I can only go on what I've been told.

Let's get to your real issue with me. I don't bow down to you like your flyer talk buddies do. You can't stand to not be the all knowing sage. Thing is, you are retired! You can stir all the #### and it doesn't matter, it won't affect you!

No, I have told the board many times Ferguson's mission is not to destroy usapa he wants to own usapa, and he will.

Eric joined on day one. Well if you consider paying dues, then having to check whether or not you are a member every couple of months and getting no reply, having no domicile rep, having no grievence procedure, having no BPR member, as being a member, then it is correct that Eric was a member on day one. He wants to change it from within, not destroy it from within.


Now good ole Nic4us has a different strategy. I would have no problem shutting down usapa, looking you in the eye and telling you to go sit and spin if you do not like the fact that West pilots are senior to you. Up next, I am going to wait to see the results of the election before I call them into question with the DOL. usapa has already violated election rules, and I am thinking do over for the morons who pretend to be a "labor union". I am guessing, but maybe they screwed it up in case Ferguson does win, then they can report their own errors and try for a do over. After all, that is what usapa is all about, second bites at the apple and illegal shenanigans to accomplish the same.

Just when you think things cannot get worse for the failed experiment in unionism called USAPA now our union's leaders are faced with "potential violation of LMRDA" and an investigation by the DOL-OLMS. When would now be a good time to lobby and ask for the only real national airline pilot's union to represent us again?

Some people make the mistake of equating hardheadedness and a lack of vision with strength. I'm soft because I acknowledge that west pilots are brothers and not our enemy, even if we are dysfunctional? I do not believe there is a "nice" way out of this. That boat sailed when George Nicolau issued his award.We are forever tainted by it. But I also don't see the answer being beating your brothers brains out. Guys just seem to forget that the west pilots aren't just tagging along because the east has the majority. The have the full rights of you and me. You tell me our victories. All I see is no Nic, but only on ripeness. The C18 was hard, kind of a 500lb bomb when a hand grenade would work. How did that work out for us? Hundreds of thousands of dollars lost, not a cent recovered, not a single admission or wrong doing, thrown out of court TWICE and thousands of dollars raised for AOL because the guys became their martyrs. The "on board" thing made a lot of guys feel good, that they were taking it back. Oops, not so quick. We now have the 50lb sledgehammer hanging over out head. Tough and smart don't always go together and often being tough without the proper resources turns out to be a mistake. Kind of that letting you mouth overload your ass thing.

Hummel might be our Romney. I'm not happy with everything he has done, but going to PHX and talking with west pilots is not one of the things I'm unhappy about. The east wanted a new union and they got one. With that is the DUTY to represent all US Airways pilots. When our leaders blatantly don't do that, they are just giving the west the rocks to throw back at us. How many times does Gary have to say that he supports DOH and more importantly the C&BLs? A lot of guys think that someone that does not support the following through of DOH without a change to the C&BLs could subject USAPA to a DFR from east pilots.

A bigger question you should ask is can McKee beat Ferguson in a run off?
