I received Jamie Javurek's email yesterday and called to ask him why he wasn't going to PHX. I thought he had planned a trip. He told me he just didn't have time with the family and being on reserve. He told me to tell my west friends that if they had any questions to call him and he is glad to talk. Thought I would put it out there since he doesn't do the board anymore.
JJ is just another one of those CLT hard core lunatics. I laughed out loud when I read that he had been "listening" to all pilots from ALL bases...then completely ignores the LARGEST pilot base, doesn't even acknowledge it's existence apparently hoping that over 40% of the pilot group, (you know the 40+% he's attempting to destroy) is too stupid to notice. Everybody notices. Everybody also knows that his brand of "leadership" drove this little experiment straight into ground. In the history of organized labor, a larger, more complete example of failure you will not find. His solution? Doubledown and keep on truckin'. The big "win" is just around the corner.


He's a coward, a thief, and a general POS. He isn't to busy with family or reserve...he's a whimpering little P*&^%$ who wouldn't dare set foot in a room full of West pilots without armed guards and a metal detector....just like the founding morons.

He is to busy to talk to 40% of the pilots group but if he is VP he would not be to busy?

His campaign crap said he talked to ALL bases. All the bases that matter in mind.

Just who is that whacko's demo? Dopp is in the angry F/O McKee camp so he has the crazy vote locked up. Bradford is with the anti cleary Hummel camp. Koontz has the west vote and some east guys wanting to move on. Who is voting for Javarek?

Except that he did stand with a bunch of west pilots in his role on the bereavement committee. He attended the funeral of your pilot that was killed in an airplane crash. I also believe he attended the funeral of the one that WA state. Not sure of that, but he did try to spread the word about the widows situation. I didn't hear about that from a single west pilot.

I disagree with Jamie about a lot. We have had, to put it mildly, some very spirited conversations. But to his credit he has never failed to listen to my POV and unlike a lot of guys on both sides I have seen him soften his views on somethings and say he was wrong at times.

Call him up. But if you start with your normal rhetoric you probably won't get too far, but then again about the only east pilots that you would get very far with that crap would be USA320 or BB. Oh yeah. One east pilot.
 
Ferguson/Koontz can get you an industry standard contract in 2012. If you think Nic. is bad, wait until what the now very agitated APA has in store for you.

Nic. is fair, equitable, final and binding. Barring mutual consent from east/west, Nothing from any court in the last 5 years has even begun to slightly indicate that's not true.

You guys went all in with USAPA. It didn't work. Either work the rest of your days with Captain rates below other Airline FO rates, or come to your senses and vote for the only sane choice.

If Ferguson/Koontz were to win positions it would be very unlikely that there would be an industry standard contract this year. The company doesn't have to negotiate and will not negotiate in good faith until they are ready and they will be ready when they think they can jam something worse down our throats than LOA 93. They will more than likely succeed because this pilot group is too fragmented to fight the company. F&K would have no more success that USAPA.

So you admit that the whole XXXXXing and moaning about him coming to PHX is crap. You don't want or need to see him and I would be surprised if any east candidate gets more than a few west votes. Jamie has the balls to put his email address and phone number on the bottom of his campaign emails, so if you want/need to communicate you can. MSU has provided his picture for you. Red herring.

I haven't seen a Ferguson east appearance date. Did I miss it? I did see that Koontz had a what, :15 minute time set aside in CLT? With him being a west F/O and bragging about how PBS gets him overnights at home you would think he could snag a few of the many CLT and PHL overnights and let AOL buys us some beer. ;-) And these are guys that are really courting east votes.

JJ does not advocate putting our pilots under the AA furloughs (I don't even know if he thinks an AA merger is inevitable).

But E.F. does advocate putting nearly half of East pilots below West furloughs.

All east third listers would be below AA furloughs by DOH. There were no west furloughs at the PID. So you are wrong on both of your points.

Read pizza the huts last campaign statement. DOH! Sorry third listers Pizza wants his seniority and is willing to throw you under the bus and advocate for another groups furloughed pilots.

You mean rationale like using the NIC which is the only list USAPA can use to avoid a DFR? Or do you mean rationale like using the NIC which is the only list the company has and will accept short of a federal court releasing them from all collusion and breach of contract liability?

If there is a merger, the respective east and west pilots will be integrated into the other carrier's list based on the NIC. Now, the new merger could result in a staple of one list to the bottom of the other, but that is not likely. Far more likely is that the NIC is used in another ratio slotting by status and equipment especially if M&B statutory provisions are invoked to complete the process.

I have personally talked with him and the above statement is spot on.
